Gorseclan
Gorseclan resides in a worn and abandoned twoleg barn, making their nests in the piles of hay and straw inside. It provides a warm and sheltered place to rest their heads, and mice and rats can sometimes be found hiding in the haybales. While other clans may make fun of their residence in the former twoleghouse, Gorseclan honestly couldn't care less. *snooty sniff*
Surrounding the barn is a grassy pasture, the cows that once resided there long gone, leaving a large expanse rich in prey. Rabbits, rodents, and a few birds make their home in here, and the Gorseclan cats hunt here to fill their bellies. It is clear of trees for the most part, but the grass is tall here, providing decent cover. Bushes and shrubs spring up here and there, the most prominent of these being the gorse bushes that give this clan its name.
However, this territory isn't perfect. A large thunderpath runs along one of it's borders where monsters race past quickly, and many cats fall to their merciless paws. The pasture where they hunt has little water, and in the summer, drought is a significant danger. Another danger summer brings is the occasional fire, started when the grass is dry and vulnerable to the sun's rays.
Gorseclan cats are trained to have a great pride in themselves and their clan, and can often seem arrogant to outsiders. Gorseclan itself is a little sneaky in their demeanor with others, very secretive of themselves, mostly due to their intense pride. They aren't particularly the most reliable ally, but if convinced or bribed to aid in a fight, they can be a formidable and loyal force.
Gorseclan cats are often lean and lanky in build, but not quite skinny due to their decent supply of prey. it's fur, not fat! They aren't the strongest, but they are typically fast and agile, excellent hunters on their clear ground. They are able to chase the rabbits that race through the grasses, and catch the birds that often come to snack on the seeds they find. Perhaps an enemy or two if it comes to it! Their pelts are often shades of red, brown, or yellow, while grey, black, and white are harder to find among them.
