Maximus is a big, friendly giant. He is very physically large, and is often
somewhat klutzy because of it. He is very thickly muscled, and can pull
weights almost twice his own weight. He also has a somewhat shiny seal bay pelt,
and a short, thick, brown mane. He also has a bit of a southern United States
accent, and uses southern slang often.Personality-wise, Max enjoys close
company with his friends. He can deal with all kinds of horses, so his friends often
consist of even the mean and twisted horses in the group. He is very loyal,
and will protect his friends at all costs. But above all, Max is the hard worker
in the group. He often is found rebuilding shelters for the horses, or even
sometimes using wood and sticks to make sculptures in an artistic manner. This
boy has a soft spot for all things small and fluffy (especially baby rabbits) and
he loves watching out for the younger Tag-Along in the group, making sure
they are safe at all times. If the situation was different, it is obvious that he
would have been a great father.

Maximus' history unfortunately does not have a happy ending, like some
horses' pasts. Max was born in a famous working-horse ranch in southern Nevada.
He was born to a purebred thoroughbred mare, who taught him a little about
life and how to live in it. When he was young, his favorite pass-time was to gallop
around the paddock, chasing cute little fluffy baby rabbits across the field, while
his mother would look on, laughing. When Max turned just barely old enough, he
was weaned early from his mother, and was sent to a prestigious working-horse
training center in the back country of England. England was very good to Maximus.
The stall were always clean, the food was always top-quality, and the training
was the best in the country. And best of all, he met a beautiful Draft x Andalusian
mare named Asiana. They soon fell in love, and they would often in their free time
run out in the paddock to catch baby rabbits together. In training however, they
excelled. They became known as one of the best working horse teams in the
country, and they won many awards in various work-horse competitions. Before
one of the biggest competitons they were in, Max gave Asiana a gift of good-luck
for the competition. It was a single, small, rabbit's foot necklace. It was not long
after that that they chose to become mates. At age five, they traveled all the way
back to Nevada in the United States, and competed in the biggest work-horse
competitions in the country, just like they had in England. The couple became
known as a symbol of true, powerful, love, and the rabbit's foot was always
described as their connection. They became so famous traveling the world, that
they were asked to go to the Grand Prix. They of course agreed, and with Asiana
officially being pregnant with Maximus' unborn foal, they made a deal to make it
their last performance before retiring and raising their foal in a nice ranch in
southern Nevada, just like Max had. On the way to the Grand Prix, however, the
Great Crash occurred. Asiana and their unborn foal did not survive the crash, and
left Maximus sad, scared, and alone. All he could find of her was the single, small,
rabbit's foot that he found in the wreckage. He now wears the necklace every day
of his life in honor of his lost love. Max is not very open about his lost loved one,
and because of that, most don't know much about his past. No one knows why he
wears the rabbit foot, because of it.

Arian is the shy one of the bunch, preferring to remain on the outskirts
and of course in the good books of those around her. The social pressures
of large groups seemingly overwhelm her and the dappled mare struggles
with communication. In general, Arian comes across as quiet and secluded,
however, the bonds that she does make with others are stronger than steel,
making her incredibly loyal, and the mare will protect them if she has no
choice but to. Her dappled coat is considered beautiful for the dark sooty
appearance and prominent dapples, although Arian dislikes the attention it
brings her. Unlike most, Arian shy's away from the intrigue and compliments
her coat brings and will often find mud and dirt to roll in, in order to cover
it up and hide. The mare loves nature, and has a need to constantly rescue
injured animals that she finds in the islands. Arian had a rough past with her
past human owner, who abused them to make her the "perfect show jumping
horse". Often pushing her to her limits and beyond. So the Andalusian often
has nightmares and odd PTSD moments because of it.

wicked is the typical word that comes to mind when the name 'dragon' is mentioned. and wicked this stallion is. for some odd, sick reason the lad gains pleasure from creating drama. he believes that chaos is sublime. chaotic might as well be his middle name. his image of life is distorted and depressive after losing his mother and friend in the great crash. this unstable horse's favorite pastime is picking fights within this herd. because of this, his body is basically covered in old scars. the stallion doesn't even notice. his appearance means nothing to him. dragon doesn't try to hide his dark demeanor, and now embraces it. a fair warning, watch out. this is not the type of stallion you want to associate with. he'll get his grip on you and ruin you.

this ebony mare is a pure bred arabian with t

born in the middle of summer to two of the greatest show jumpers, she was a living legacy. she made many friends and often spent her spare time practicing her jumping skills with her mother and father in the pastures. she was always friendly and always willing to do whatever it took to prove herself to her parents. she had grown strong and able over the years and learned all she could until at last she, herself, became a show horse. she loved the thrill of the runs and the freedom that came with jumping as if she were a raven flying across the lands. the more she jumped the more daring she got until at last she was taking part in high jumping competitions and flying across the courses like nothing, her moves swift as water across the rocky riverbed. she earned her name the ebony enchantress due to her graceful movement and flowing jumps. she was well renowned for her elegance which earned her much fame among the other horses of the group. when the accident happened she felt her dreams slipping away but held tight to the hope that they may one day return. though the loss of her friends hit her hard she is done her best to regain the feeling of joy she felt flying across the jumping ring. she has turned her loss of jumping into a reason to partake in dangerous activities and has found a new sense of freedom in running wild, her strength making dangerous tasks all the more fun for the wily mare.[voice/theme song = halsey]

Typically known now as the brains of the group, Artemis has taken a lot of responsibility on her shoulders, though she wouldn't exactly call herself the leader. Her intelligence that has always come naturally to her as a filly has served her well and she now works to solve the group's problems and conflicts. With the trauma everyone has suffered in the crash, she has taken it upon herself to act as a therapist, listening to others and helping them with their emotional troubles or any problems they may have. and has a mostly logical way of looking at things. However, as with many highly intelligent souls, hers is very closed off to showing emotions. She isn't very expressive with how she's feeling, so any subtle change in her expressions, attitude or body language speaks volumes to what she's really feeling. Like the others, she also hides some emotional scars, but hides it well. Despite her emotional issues and her logical way of thinking, she is very kind to most everyone and doesn't think any less of anyone if they aren't as smart as she is. Incredibly gentle and patient, and only rarely is she ever snappy or forceful. Work smart is something she often says. Why waste precious energy when it's not necessary?

An underdog when he started in his avent, Wilhelm didn't look like much, with
his oddly white hide and sickly-looking pink skin. The others scoffed when
the stallion made his first appearance. Quickly, they learned that he really
was an opponent, never making a mistake in his lengthy career. Outside of
competition, the stallion was an unruly one, given his trainer much
headache, as he'd never settle down enough to do his job. He only seemed
to calm down in show. To other horses, he was a charmer. He'd do anything
to prove himself in their eyes with a heavy need to be accepted, often making
fun of himself to get a good laugh. Wilhelm's quick mind and intelligence led
him to know what was needed in social situations, though when calm, he
becomes an awkward stallion, not having the ability to think through all the
goings on in his mind to pick out the words needed to hold a conversation.
Friendly and loyal, he makes a good friend to anyone.
