For some people, ryu can be a difficult being to like. Towards strangers he appears to be very cold and closed off, rarely initiating conversation with others and usually holding a far-off look in his eyes. But this is only with those he does not know. For those who took the time and dedication to befriend him he's actually quite the opposite. He smiles and talks quite a bit with those he's close to, cracking jokes and being incredibly social. Once you do gain his trust and friendship, ryu is very reliable and trustworthy. His worst flaws of personality are the fact that he does have difficulties with socialization and he is very impatient. he doesn't like people who are slower minded normally simply because he gets impatient so easily. Overall he's a good person if you get to know him.
Ryu is actually quite the looker. he's on the taller side, standing at six foot 2 inches, with a thin yet very average build. He has messy hair that appears to be a dark rusty color and has icy pale blue eyes.
Ryu grew up (until about age thirteen) in a small town with his mother and father. he loved his parents dearly, wanting to be just like them when he did grow up. But sadly, Ryu was separated from his parents in his early teenage years after his father was suspected by hunters of several disappearances and murders in their town. In fear that ryu would suffer the same fate as his father, but not wanting her son to fear hunters, his mother sent him away to cross academy.

hunter, who seems to find great pleasure in
teasing him. despite this, he is one of the few
hunters that ryu can tolerate, which is odd. he
doesn't see daisuke as too much of a threat,
and feels as though his life at the academy
would be boring and unimportant without the
hunter's constant pestering.

ayame kamachi ─ neutral
while personality-wise ryu could quite like the
hunter, it's her past that intimidates him. when
she had entered cross academy, he was
informed of her mothers deathand immediately
developed an irrational fear that she would hold
a grudge towards all vampires. He doesn't know
much about her simply he avoids her as to avoid
seeming dangerous.

ima akahoshi ─ neutral/positive
ima is one of the hunters that ryu is somewhat
comfortable being around. he can even say that
he respects her to an extent. He's met a number
of hunters but never another who is as
approachable as her. he still wouldn't consider
them anything more than acquaintances, but
if they did end up socializing more he could
consider her a good friend.

ryu sees a lof of himself in the younger night
class student. His quite and somewhat closed
off demeanor don't irritate ryu at all, and he
treats the boy with a kindness he may not get
from other students.

mayu kita ─ positive
ryu likes mayu quite a bit. She is almost like a
sister to him. if faced with an issue he finds it
easiest to go to her, as she does listen to his
every word and gives him her honest opinion
in the end. some others could be annoyed
that she can be considered distant at times
and is on the quieter side, but he likes these
things about her.

while ryu can't say he completely dislikes this
girl, he is not in any sense fond of her. He finds
her very irritating, but never treats her with
disrespect as she is one of his kind, but he does
not consider her a friend.

while ryu does hold respect for this vampire he
wouldn't find it priority to even consider trying
to befriend her. he would worry far too much
about making a wrong move and bringing her
wrath upon him.

Samuel is a soft-spoken and quiet boy. He usually doesn't speak unless spoken to. He dislikes idle talk and he acts a bit aloof and distant towards strangers. He is very self-conscience of himself and thinks others are silently judging him. He is kind, but he's not very good at social interactions and tries to avoid them. He tends to hide his feelings from others and has trouble saying how he feels since he doesn't want to look weak.

the only reason that 'positive' could be attached to their relationship is because daisuke constantly references ryu's non-existent love for him. when they first encountered one another, daisuke had taken such a point to tease the kid that they essentially cannot stand one another. if ryu just so happens to be in the hunters presence, daisuke will happily throw as many little annoyed quips at him as he can muster. they essentially hate one another -- but, hey, that's why daisuke adores the guy.

their relationship isn't 'neutral' because they never talk -- its because daisuke is absolutely weirded out by the kids formality, but can't find any reason to hate him. when the two first met, daisuke was suited up and ready to throw his usual, sarcastic façade on -- but sam was so polite about everything. literally everything. daisuke can't help but feel genuinely awkward around the kid. this all being said, he finds sam to be the only vampire who he actually trusts at this school. he wouldn't tell anyone else, though.

daisuke doesn't trust a hair on this girls head. with samuel, his formality seems honest, but with mayu's kindness in addition to her naturally quiet and distant personality -- there's no way she isn't hiding something. daisuke would personally label their relationship as negative as he simply doesn't trust her, but that's counterparted by a conversation the two had when they first met. mayu noticed how upset daisuke seemed, and he confessed his history to her -- which he hadn't done to anyone prior. he now feels a bit awkward because of this, but she still seems just as warm as she was when they first met.

even if the two are on completely good terms, they sure don't act like it. the moment she walks into the room, daisuke's attitude goes from about a 2 to a 10 -- if it wasn't at a 10 pretty much all the time. at first, their relationship was built out of irritation for one another (at least on his side), until daisuke noted how truly ambitious the girl seemed to be. endeared by her spunk, their sarcasm towards one another turned into a positive light -- although he still can't stand her whole 'falling for people' reputation she's earned herself.

if these two don't kill each other it's gonna be a miracle. they might've actually gotten along similar to him and katherine if it wasn't for daisuke's constant sarcastic comments. sure, the girl doesn't hold grudges -- but he makes a point to do it quite literally every time she walks into the room. their relationship turned negative simply because of their clashing opinions and each of their stubbornness -- but daisuke still finds her super enticing.

if anyone in this world could get daisuke to change his mind about anything at all ever, it's ayame. he'd never out right admit it, but he absolutely adores her, allured by her optimistic demeanor (which he usually finds incredibly irritating). not even he can say why their relationship is like this, but daisuke isn't one to fight whatever he thinks about people. she's pretty much his sister (even though he'll never tell her) and he finds himself feeling an intense need to protect her if she's in fatal danger (otherwise she's fine she's good about protecting herself given that she could probably beat him up).

daisuke is about 98% sure that even if they didn't meet by both being hunters, they'd be the best of friends. well, at least in his eyes. he absolutely loves to talk about anything with her (they're sorta like two old ladies with their tea and gossip) and he'd pretty much trust her with any hunting assignment (but not with making food or doing chores or any of that. him and ayame do all of that while ima crushes them at killing everything).

this poor girl has fallen victim to daisuke's manipulation so many times. she's seen his charming façade more than anyone as he likes to create little stories for her to wonder about and exaggerate his battles with vampires. this being said, daisuke won't tolerate any vampires picking on her if he can help it as it is his duty in the long run.

Mizuki is.. well she's an interesting person. She has a lot of curiosity, which has caused her to get into troublesome situations many times. She has a great amount of enthusiasm and is almost always a little ball of energy. Most people find her very likeable, finding it easy to socialize with her. While a good amount of the day class students tend to shy away from the night class, she has made several attempts to socialize with certain members, unaware of what danger it could put her in.
Mizuki is a pretty small person. She stands at five feet and has a slightly curvy but thin frame. She has long, thick, honey colored hair that has a slight wave to it and has bright amber eyes.
Mizuki didn't have the best home life before being sent off to Cross Academy. Her mother was an addict and her father visited once a month, for one day. She didn't have much a reason to think that either of her parents cared much for her because she was constantly on her own. Little did she know that her father was working several jobs to support her and save up enough money to send her to a decent high school. Although her circumstances as a child were not great, she did her best to stay optimistic. She made friends when she went to her school and almost always kept a smile on her face.
