savannah killian was only eight when she met her untimely end at the hands of the king's soldiers. her hair is matted with blood in the back, where she was shoved against a wall. in death, she wears what she did then; a pale blue dress with puffy sleeves and a matching blue bow in her hair. it is by no mean's a lady's dress, but then savannah was hardly a lady. she was a carefree soul in life, and remains so in death. visitors can often hear a girl's voice reciting nursery rhymes or children's games. savannah is one of the sweeter ghosts at the castle, and will go out of her way to seek out visitors, but is almost two-faced in this regard. she will ask them to play with her, and will play happily if they accept. however, she is prone to violent tantrums, as their presence reminds her that she is dead, and cannot have what they have. savannah lets envy consume her and is a whirlwind of destruction, pulling hair, ripping up maps, and the like. she will calm down eventually, but not after doing often irreparable damage.

valerie vixen had a rough start to life, and is extremely grateful for her group of friends. her mother passesed away when she was 7, and her father - overcome by grief - began to drink heavily. without the double income, they had to downsize, and val's dad started gambling. he lost a lot of money, and anything he did win was wasted on booze. Valerie had to practically raise herself, but didn't mention any of this to her friends. She is a tough independent girl who didn't want the pity. instead, she kept her home life a secret, even when her father started becoming abusive. he blamed it on the booze and she accepted that excuse, but all the sorry's in the world couldn't remove the bruises. one night when she was 15 however, val was woken up to the sound of smashing glass. she went into the kitchen to discover her father breaking plates. as it turned out, he had just gambled away their house. the liquor was clouding his judgement, and for some reason when he looked at her he saw his wife. next thing valerie knew, he had pulled a knife on her, cutting her stomach before she realised the danger and ran out of the house to the next door neighbours. long story short, she was put into foster care, and has been shifting from one home to the next. her rebellious nature and untrusting aggression towards strangers - a result of her past - doesn't appeal to most people. only when she is with her friends is valerie at her best. free-spirited, outgoing and loyal, this thrill-seeker brings a bit of fun to the table. when the location for the trip was discussed, val was all for it. the middle of nowhere was far from the city, and allows an escape from her life and hopefully a discovery of who she truly is before she heads off to college.
