sawyer is a complete nerd. He loves to
read and adores nature. He's known to
have a very gentle soul, never lashing
out with words or physically. Despite
this, he does have very high anxiety,
especially when in loud or crowded
places. Although he constantly tries to
see the best in bad situations some-
times it just doesn't work. Overall he's

─ as somebody who loves to love, sawyer is a bit freaked out
by how cold and closed off from everybody rikimaru is. he tries
to get along with them but just finds conversing with them to be
almost agonizing. while they value logic, he values emotion.

─ sawyer really admires liam's determined and optimistic
attitude about things. while at times sawyer can be intimidated
be liam's more reckless side, he still feels as though he would
certainly get along well with the other boy.

anastas augustine, best known as ana, has taken her love of chemistry and sc
ience to the next level. originally, ana had wanted to be a forensic anthropo
logist, but that's far out of the question now. instead, the twenty year old gi
rl spends her time making ied's and other explosives out of the matierials she
gets her hands on. though she typically arms herself with some form of explo
sive, ana definitely knows her way around a gun. she does lack in phsyical s
trength, but has been working on that almost daily. anastas isn't really an op
timistic person. no, not much at all. in fact, she's more of a pessimist, often
times seeing the worst in things. and, though she won't admit it, she's got a
huge soft spot for the english language. she loves everything about it - the
words and the books and the people involved in it. she does prefer chemistry,
her favorite element being mercury. since the war broke out, ana has beco
me rather cynical. once upon a time, the girl was someone who always had
a smile on her face, but now? now she's seen far too much - she's a darker,
different person. she's not one to talk about what she's seen and been throu
gh, especially with how reserved and guarded she is, but there are a rare f
ew people who she can properly open up to without fear of judgement.

anastas isn't really as bad as some people ma
ke her out to be. she isn't really rude, per se,
and she generally keeps her negativity to he
rself and often times forces a smile to keep
the group going. she's very hardworking and
typically completes her tasks quickly and e
fficiently. when she can, usually doing her f
ree time, anastas reads. she loves all things
about the english language and literature, s
o if they're in a new place, there's no doubt
that the bleach blonde girl is searching for n
ew books to add to her growing collection. s
he also really, really likes dr. pepper, so if
she's ever to find a can or bottle of it laying
around, she makes sure to snag it. despite h
er role as bomber, ana is very good with m
dicinal activities. growing up, her mother w
was a surgeon, so ana knows how to stitch u
p a wound and she knows enough about med
icine to help the group along. below is a li

while ana is extremely pessimistic, sawyer is the complete oppos
ite. she likes that he sees the best in things, and she often sees
her old self in him. in time, she'd probably trust him a lot.

ana surely appreciates theo's intelligence and accuracy with a
gun. with him, she has no reason to feel unsafe and for her tha
t means a lot in a world like this. i see them being friends one day.

ana can just tell that liam is not her biggest fan. it doesnt bo
ther her, but with him not particularly liking her, she may not

i definitely see bethany being one of the few reasons ana sm
iles/laughs. bethany is a vv likable person, and i just really see
ana taking a genuine liking to the other girl! ( friends? )

i definitely see ana eventually taking a liking to riki, mostly
because the two are really into sciences. i figure that at first, a
na will be a bit awkward around them but will warm up to them.

theodore is, what some people would call, a sloth. he enjoys nothing more than sitting back and letting others do his work. in spite of that he can work hard towards a single goal if motivated enough. he once had a dream of entering the world archery championships. it was a dream that he worked hard on since he was in middle school. sadly that dream will never become a reality as the world turned into a hellish paradise. he had a talent for archery and that carried over into his training regiment when he was drafted. while quite the dead eye with firearms he lacks little self-defense discipline. because of this he more than makes up for it with his large array of other skills. he knows himself very well and would never place himself into a situation in which there was no good out come. for his age he is a very quiet individual who keeps things to himself unless he feels they are to be of use. in times of stress he rarely loses his calm. on the inside he may be sweating but on the outside he will always strive to remain level-headed. while young in age he has seen and done many things that most veterans have nightmares about. because of this he suffers from insomnia and is constantly on alert.

❧ Sawyer Neutral/Undecided
xxxxxWhile Theo respects Sawyer's tracking skills and his
xxxxxknowledge about nature. He just isn't sure how he
xxxxxfeels about the boy. At times he feels Sawyer is too
xxxxxsoft for his own good. At other times Theo feels like
xxxxxhe has to look out for the older boy. In all he thinks
xxxxxthat Sawyer is someone who needs to be protected.

❧ Anastas Neutral/Negative
xxxxxTheo is quite the lazy individual and because of
xxxxxthis he isn't one for conversations. Ana is too
xxxxxclosed off and guarded for his tastes. He doesn't
xxxxxreally know many things about her and thus holds
xxxxxa mild distrust towards her. This is mostly his fault
xxxxxas he rarely tries to get to know other people and
xxxxxin turn places little faith in others. He will most
xxxxxlikely warm up to her later on.

❧ Liam Positive/Brotherly
xxxxxGrowing up Theo never had any siblings. As such
xxxxxhe doesn't know what it's like. However, he feels
xxxxxhis interactions with Liam strongly resemble that
xxxxxof brothers. He enjoys the younger boy's company
xxxxxand, while not much of a talker, he likes to listen.
xxxxxLiam's energetic personality forces him to get up
xxxxxand get motivated. Seeing Liam try and out do
xxxxxeveryone else makes him work a bit harder.

❧ Bethany Positive/Partners in crime
xxxxxBethany and Theo are the most unexpectedly
xxxxxlazy duo. When caught lounging around he
xxxxxnormally gets a good earful. When Bethany
xxxxxcatches him they end up being idle together.
xxxxxHe many not be a fan of her loud personality
xxxxxbut he keeps that to himself. Her optimism is
xxxxxcatchy and he often finds himself going along
xxxxxwith anything she believes in. These two are at
xxxxxtheir closest when they are doing nothing at all.

❧ Rikimaru Positive/Respectful
xxxxxTheo is on the fence about this one. He knows an
xxxxxintelligent mind when he sees one. Because of this
xxxxxhe is very respectful towards Riki and their genius.
xxxxxOn the other hand he isn't fond of their detached
xxxxxand apathetic look on life. It reminds him too much
xxxxxof how he used to be and how hard he is trying to
xxxxxchange. In spite of this he likes to hear their opinion
xxxxxon things just because it is so different from every
xxxxxother person.

Liam has always been very determined. In school, he always had to beat everybody else every time. He might not have been the smartest kid, but he worked harder than almost anyone else, often staying up late. Everybody always assumed that he was just naturally talented, which annoyed him a bit because they didn't know how hard that he had worked to be the best. His parents always encouraged him to participate in extracurricular activities, especially sports, because they were worried that he didn't get enough exercise. Everybody was surprised when he said that he wanted to learn how to use a sword. However, them saying that he couldn't do it only made Liam more determined to learn. He started at eleven, and quickly became proficient. When the war broke out, he was enlisted into the army to help fight beasts.
Liam has a fairly cheerful personality, preferring to look on the bright side of things. He is very friendly, and reaches out to people quickly. However, he can be reckless and impatient, and will go out of his way to prove someone wrong.

Sawyer:: positive

Sawyer seems to be a very polite and kind boy, one who is very gentle
overall. Since Liam has a tendency to dislike and sometimes argue with
more overbearing people, he would probably like Sawyer. They are
both optimistic, even though Liam is more aggressive than Sawyer,
so they'll probably get along.

Anastas:: neutral

Liam might be interested in what she does and how she makes bombs,
but might be annoyed by her constant cynicism and pessimism, because
he actively makes it a point to stay upbeat, and she doesn't even try.

Theodore:: positive

Liam views Theodore almost as an older brother, since the older boy,
although hardly responsible, he is much more composed than him,
and isn't as impatient. He is also impressed by his skill as a marksman,
because Liam is bad with long-range weapons.

Bethany:: positive

Bethany is also very positive, so they'll probably get along well with each
other. Their personalities are very similar.

Rikimaru:: neutral

Although they seem to be very closed off, Liam can definitely admire
their intelligence. He might not understand why they're so detached,
but he would probably approach them anyways.

bethany was made for this job. throughout her school years, she wa
s labeled the class clown. she was the one who made others laughed
and pissed off the teacher. because she constantly got in trouble, m
essing with the rules and law doesn't bother her anymore. others cri
ticisms also roll right off of her. as long as she's happy with herself,
the words of words don't matter. she's definitely an optimist, even
when face-to-face with beasts unknown. she can be quite loud, whic
h is both good and bad, and can be oblivious to when she really ne
eds to shut her mouth. she's never seen without her worn black lea
ther jacket, even if it's blistering hot outside. blt is known to make
jokes at inappropriate times, but that's because her jokes are a def
ense mechanism so that the tragic reality of the state of the world
doesn't bring her high spirits down. since she ran cross country thro
ughout herhigh school years, she has the stamina to distract and le
ad the beasts away from the others needed.
