the plane hit the water before anyone knew what was happening.
as passengers took to the rafts, someone pointed out the pilots. it
was clear that they had been shot and killed. nobody knew what
was happening, or where they were. but one thing was on everyb-
ody's mind. they had traitors in their ranks, and were all stranded.
and later that night, only two rafts made it to shore..

growing up, genesis or gen, was often bullied by her peers. her mother was an active member of the FBI, her father a mean drunk. with her mother almost never home, her father always home and drinking, and a bad life at school, there was no escape for the blonde-haired girl.
throughout middle and high school, she was on the heavier side. she often wore baggy sweaters and sweatpants to school in an attempt to hide her body, but it did her no good. girls were always terrible, and the guys were no better. because of the horrendous bullying, the girl later ended up being admitted into a hospital for fear of self-injury. when she was released, she was cold and seemingly heartless. she caused many fights in school, often directed towards the people who hurt her the worst.
in her freshman year of highschool, a young man by the name of xavier roland came to town. the two shared many of their classes together, and quickly became friends. he was a bit on the rough side; grew up in foster houses all of his life, but even with his snarky, rebellious attitude, he found the good inside himself and projected it upon young gen.
now in her freshman year of college, genesis has shed the weight that she believed had held her down, and is happier than she had ever really been. though she does still have a bit of a colder side, genesis is, for the most part, a new person.

Being the foreign exchange student can be a bit
tough, especially when English is not your first
language. However, this Italian gal loves a good
challenge, so when the opportunity arose she
took it without question. Lucky for her, she had
the brains for the job, and quickly grasped the
basics. She had grown up an hobby artist, drawing
and painting for leisure, and decided on an art
major as well as an architect major to enhance her
skills and hopefully use them for something
worthwhile in life. Overall she is a fun girl with
a good sense of humour, witty and goofy persona
and a gal who is not afraid to get a job done no
matter what the cost. Not exactly a tomboy, but
definitely no girly-girl, this is the by no means
socially awkward Annalucia.

Meet Opehlia Rose, the girl whose name literally means
"Help a flower". How right that could be. This lovely
girl is as helpless as helpless could be.
Lord knows how she has survived this long, probably
due to the help of the other college students. She
just does not know the severity of the situation,
and somehow always ends up in predicaments where she
needs saving.

Despite her being foolish, she is actually fairly charming.
It's almost hard to not like her, and while she may be annoying,
somehow you can always find yourself wanting to be near her.
Lia is just a cuddly ball of love, and will always be there
if you need to rant or scream.

When James Coiro packed up his bags to move far away from his sleepy hometown of Wallerton, CT; he never once stopped to consider that he would end up marooned on an unknown island in the middle of the Atlantic ocean. After all that kind of stuff never happens to people back home, where the nearest lake barely breached five feet and people don't leave ever. Then again James never exactly fit their standards of normal either. They were close minded and wary of outsiders, while James welcomed strangers with open arms. Most kids aspire to go to a local college and get some degree that will mean nothing to them years later. This boy on the other hand went the opposite direction to the big city to study medieval history. Sure there's not many jobs that will line up with that career, but it's his life. He's not going to let money dictate his choices. So it was unsurprising that when the opportunity arose to go to Germany, he jumped in headfirst. Now that's a choice he regrets since the plane crashed and right now he doesn't even care about his degree. He just wants to go home.
