appearance; She is average height with a slim but small build. She has long light brown hair with some natural lighter streaks throughout it that goes down almost the entire length of her back. She has tan skin with blue/hazel eyes. She normally wears long sleeve t-shirts with jeans or a sweatshirt over a short sleeved shirt. Normally she has her sleeves pulled over her hands.
powers; she has Technokinesis - the ability to control and manipulate machines and Pyrokinesis - can create flames with her hands

personality; she is extremely shy and may not talk to you the first time you meet her, unless she feels really comfortable around you. Once she warms up to you she is very caring and supportive. She can also be brave, a good listener, as well as stubborn.
history; She lived most of her childhood without a real father. She had a step father but he was never around and didn't really care for her. She found out she could use fire when she accidentally set her dinner on fire one night when she was 10. Her mother had to explain to her what she was and she didn't want to believe it because it scared her to think of that. She started seeing monsters when she turned 12 but they didn't bother her until her 15th birthday. She got attacked on her way to camp while her mother was taking her and has been a little shaken up since. She's not used to everything and is still trying to fit in.

She has somewhat of a short temper but you'd have to do something that really gets on her nerves to get her upset. She is seemingly laid back and carefree though if she's stressed she never shows it around other people. She gets extremely distracted very easily and often doesn't finish a task before she starts a new one.
history; Meredith grew up with her mother for the child years of her life until her mom got remarried. Her step-father had two sons that were both older than her. They picked on her and she felt like they came in and took over her home and made her feel like she didn't belong in her own home. She realized she was different one night when she went to bed mad at her step-brothers and she heard her mom start yelling from downstairs. She knew something was wrong because her mother never yelled. She went down to see what happened and found the entire kitchen flooded from burst pipes. She tested some theories when no one was looking and figured out she could control the water. She knew she had to leave because if her step dad figured out she had something to do with the flooding she'd wouldn't be aloud to do anything. She left her mother a note saying she was leaving and probably wouldn't be back. It was hard for her but she got by and eventually found her way to camp. She hasn't been there long but is trying to fit in.

powers; she has photokinesis, the ability to manipulate light, as well as being a skilled artist

personality; Jaedyn is kind of shy when you first meet her. She doesn't often talk to just anyone but once you get to know her she is very outgoing and kind. She can have a bit of a temper though if you get on her nerves or do something to make her upset.
history; Jaedyn and her brother were born to a wealthy man. He had fallen in love with Iris but went nearly insane whenever she was gone for long periods of time. She had left him for a long time and by the time Jae and Jack were six, he had gone almost completely mad. He hated seeing his children because they only reminded him of their mother who never returned. The twins decided on their tenth birthday that they couldn't live there anymore. They tried to run away but their dad hired a team of investigators to find them. He punished them harshly when they got back but they just ran away again when they turned thirteen. This time they got away. They lived on their own, moving around often and trying to provide for each other for two years until they were found by a satyr when a monster attacked them and taken to camp.

personality; Jack can be a bit stubborn when it comes to almost anything. He can easily get into an argument about something that doesn't matter at all and he'd defend himself or whoever he believes is right until the end. When he isn't being stubborn he is really sweet and caring. He can be a bit overprotective of his sister, given all they went through, but he is sweet and charming and occasionally flirty.

powers; as a hunter of artemis, jason possesses greatly enhanced strength, agility, speed, reflexes, and mind, compared to other demi-gods and greatly moreso than humans. similarly, he will stop aging at the age of 21. his enhanced body is even more impressive when compared to his immense marksmanship and close combat abilities, combined with stealth.
weapon; a custom-made, mottled black and crimson recurve bow, magical in nature - created by a Hunter of Artemis. it transforms from a ring he keeps on on his right hand. a heavy-duty, leather quiver filled to the brim with lethal, razor-sharp arrows forms on his back with only a thought. Two bronze hunting knives are constantly in his boots, ready to be wielded or thrown.
personality; jason comes off as a cold, rebellious, and virtually fearless young man with a rather violent past filled with criminal activity, even if he didn't really know any better at that time. he has an incredibly street-smart mind, and is rather ruthless when fighting against enemies, which can make him seem very intimidating whenever this is seen. his tongue spits fire, and he has no problem slicing into people with words. as defiant and hardened as he is, he likes feisty women similar to himself. artemis certainly doesn't approve.
history; not much is known. jason was originally an orphan - he had ran away from his orphanage at a young age, when monsters attacked the building due to one of the occupants being an inherently powerful demi-god. his city, detroit, wasn't the best place to be as a child, and as such, he was sucked into a violent life of crime, being thrown into a violent gang that terrorized the city and brought fear into the hearts of police. he got used to robbing, mugging, threatening, beaitng up...it became a daily routine. counting the 'dough'. well, around the age of 11, he had been wandering the forest a bit outside of his city, waiting to meet up with another gang member. he heard the screams, and curious, he ran towards the source. a large...a very large monster, attacking a group of what seemed to be females in silver.

they were certainly fighting it off, and there were other bodies of this...cyclops family scattered around. one of the females were about to be crushed, and instincts taking over, jason ran from his hiding place in the bushes and tackled the girl out of the way. although they were shocked, jason allowed the same instincts that helped him in scraps, to help him out here. he took out the gun he was always forced to keep, and shot the thing. bullets didn't help. they distracted it though. the girls used their bows to fight the monster back, and eventually, it was close to being slain. jason had picked up how to shoot the arrows as he helped them fight, and launched the killing blow. the girls viewed him as a hostile - a male pig, but the female he had saved was happy. she invited him to stay, saying that their leader was coming back soon. sure enough, another woman - this one tall and fair-headed, came into the camp, as jason was helping with dinner - actually helping, out of boredom and anxiety. after hearing the tale, the woman invited jason into the camp, seeing him as what he was - a scared, morally confused orphan kid. as the years went by, they became closer, jason becoming her son in everything but blood...maybe.

he nows does missions for her as the only male Hunter of Artemis, taking out the beasts - both human and monster - she asks him too. he travels over the world under his legal name, jason grove, and doesn't bring out too much attention - he was never into that whole silvery bull that she tried to make him wear years ago. he drove motorcycles, cars, broke into places, stole things...but it was all for a good reason, eh? recently, he has been told to stay at the camp, as artemis has told him that things would need his hunting as time went by. although confused and a bit peeved, he has came.

powers; (Up to two) As a child of Hades, Merilyn can control the dead by summoning ghosts and skeletons as long as there is a cemetery or something nearby. She can use a bit of magic but all it can really do is small things such as moving certain objects.

personality; Cold, cut off, very sarcastic, distrusting, dark sense of humour, a little bit manipulative, kind at heart, anxious, doesn't believe in her own abilities.
history; Merilyn has had quite a hard life. Her mother abandoned her at an orphanage as a baby. There, she grew up alone and unloved and often bullied. This lasted for quite a few years before she accidentally sent someone flying backwards using magic when she was 10. After that she turned from the victim into being treated as a bully. Everyone in the orphanage was terrified of her abilities...until Carol arrived. Carol and Merilyn became unlikely friends.

School wasn't much better. Word got around of what happened at the orphanage and, again, Merilyn was feared. Carol remained her only friend for anoither 3 years when she met Grover (Ta da!). Things went well for a month until she was attacked by a chimera on a school trip to a museum. After the incident, Grover took Merilyn to camp Halfblood with Carol's help. When they arrived, Merilyn was put in the Hermes cabin until she was claimed as well as Carol. They were claimed soon after; she was a child of Hades and Carol was a child of Athena. Merilyn decided to stay at Camp Halfblood all year round.
