Redwood is a boarding school for students from all different backgrounds of life. The school is meant for students in the seventh grade and up. It is a highly prestigious institute not only known for its world-class academics but also its extra-curricular activities and teams. This academy is very competitive to get into, but if you do succeed, (which you have, congratulations!) there is no need to worry about paying the tuition, you see, all students here are accepted on a full scholarship. This also gives us the perfect premise to kick you out shall we see fit. And, I warn you, we are quite strict here... Five strikes, yes, two more than the average, and you will be out of here. Attached you will find a packet about the school, School schedule (not to be confused with a class schedule which you will be presented with during orientation), order forms for your books and uniforms, the schools rules and several other pieces of pertinent information that you should read up on before attending orientation and settling into your dorm.

<PLEASE Break>
|Curfew| There is a 10pm curfew for all students Sunday-Wednesday where everyone is expected to be in their dorms. Lights must be out by 11pm on those nights so everyone is well rested for classes the next day. There is also a 7:30am Wake-Up call and all students are expected to be in attendance at Breakfast by no later than 8:30am. Classes begin promptly at 9am. Thursday-Saturday there is a 12am curfew for students to be in a dorm. Sleepovers are allowed on the weekends so long as all roommates are in agreement and all occupants are of the same gender. So long as everyone is quiet and the dorm door is closed by midnight there is no set time for lights out... unless you become noisy and disruptful of your neighbors. If you are involved with a weekend club or are part of a team that is meeting during the weekend it is your responsibility to get up on time.

|Dorms| Dorms are to be kept clean and tidy at all times. They may be personalized to a point but no major changes such as painting the walls or re-doing the flooring in a permanent way, basically, no vandalism of the school's property. Use your belongings to personalize in a clean and tidy way. Beds are to be made each morning before going down to breakfast, drawers should be completely closed with no clothing hanging out, closets should be closed and all storage/travel equipment should be tucked away. Bathrooms are also expected to stay clean. There is to be no smoking in any of the buildings, including your dorm or bathroom. No outside foods or drinks are permitted into the dorm rooms. The only acceptable, edible items are water, juice boxes and small, non-messy candies. There will be random, unannounced Dorm checks at least once every three weeks, more should your residential director feel you need it. One last reminder, regardless of whether you like them or not, your roommates are final.

|School| All students are required to maintain a minimum of a C+ average. Any student who has under a B will be summoned to speak with Headmistress Deluva and assigned either a study schedule, a tutor (possibly both) or an expulsion notice if they are failing more than two classes. Attendance is required. You are allowed a total of four unexcused absences, per class, per year. This may be over-looked if a nurses note is present or a tragedy of some sort happens where you must be sent home for a period of time. All missed work must be made up promptly however. Students are required to join at least 1 club or sport every year. Failure to comply with that will result in an immediate 3 strikes, leaving you with only 2 chances before you are expelled.

|Manners| Everyone is expected to treat each other honestly and respectfully. Fighting and inappropriate behavior are cause for disciplinary actions such as strikes, detention or immediate expulsion if the action was bad enough. Students should never talk back to a teacher and vice versa. Just a reminder though, once a student gets to 5 strikes they will be expelled and this is quite a difficult school to get into, it becomes nearly impossible once you have been kicked out.

Gianna loves being around people, and can usually be found in the vicinity of others. Gianna is one of those people with a very hot'n'cold personality. She loves you one day, the next she might snap at you. She isn't bi-polar, just moody she's been tested. After becoming American citizens her father was fortunate enough to land a job as the overnight, drive-through person at McDonald's. {Basically, it's assumed that as soon as he was born (which officials weren't able to locate records of so it's assumed he was birthed, not, in a hospital), he was dropped off on the metal steps of the safe haven trailer barely wrapped in a woman's magenta sweater on a, thankfully, pretty warm September 9th. Upon being taken in by the safe haven he was given a clean bill of health and put immediately into 'the system'. He ended up being a foster child for the Addams, and they ended up adopting him by the time he was ten months old. Even though he never acquired the same skill as his siblings and <most of> his cousins at being able to ride well, from a young age Andy has been dancing his heart out and seems to have a serious passion for music that has only grown over the years. {Born on November 7th to two wonderful, loving parents, Avia Katara Love was brought home three days later and introduced to her older sister Victoria. Since she was born Via's life has been both completely normal yet also a complete whirlwind of events. When she was five her family relocated from Colorado Springs, Colorado where her parents had lived since they were married twelve years prior, to Daman, India where they stayed with Ava's mothers family for the next five years. It was quite an experience that was only brought on by the sickness of her great-grandmother who passed away shortly after moving as well as her ill grandfather and uncle. Although it is a coastal town, they were located as far inland as the town stretched. The perfect place for a farm. Living in India, Avia was exposed to the Brahman cows that her extended family raised along with the Aseel chickens, Peafowl, Ganjam sheep and Boer goats. Along with the livestock they also kept two Marwari horses which still have a special place in her heart. Upon moving back to Colorado Springs just after Avi turned ten, the family went to live with her fathers parents, sister and her family who had moved to the states just after Victoria had been born. About a year after moving back her father was caught having his first affair which resulted in her little, mestizo, half-brother. Last year he was found to have had a child with another woman, this time it was actually children, two girls and a boy that are now her, currently, youngest mulatto half-siblings. They aren't completely positive, but Avia and Victoria think their father may be at it again. Avi is always thankful that her mother is such a kind, caring woman who lives by her belief in Karma and that she should forgive and forget.}

When she was two years old, her father died in a car accident, leaving Holly and her mother, with another child due in a month. A month later, her mother, Serah, gave birth to another baby girl who she named Ivy. She was greatly weakened by the birth, and four months later she died of pneumonia in the hospital. Holly and Ivy were sent to a foster home, where they were absolutely miserable. There was nothing wrong with the place; it was quite nice and the foster mother and father were very kind. The other children were welcoming and took wonderful care of baby Ivy. But Holly felt like an outcast all the time. She spent most of her time sitting on her bed reading picture books next to Ivy's cradle, making sure she was okay. She grew up with only one friend, Ruby, who was a victim of child abuse.
