Chance Christian Garcia was born January 4th, 1997 in Eliot, Maine. Raised along with his younger brother Aiden by his mother and father, both him and his brother were very happy children. Aiden and him were very close, and practically inseperable from one another. They did everything together.
When Chance was nine years old, his parents began to seriously fight. It got worse and worse until they would phsically hit and shove each other. Finally, when Chance was twelve years old, they got a divorce. His dad took Aiden and moved to Michigan, and Chance hasn't seen them since. He misses his brother terribly, and although they do talk on the phone occasionally, they've sadly drifted apart a lot.
After his father and brother left, Chance fell into a really deep depression. His mother did the best she could to cheer him up, but despite her best efforts she just couldn't seem to shake him. He began to "hurt himself", and after catching him doing so when he was fourteen, his mom brought him to the nearby hospital, placing him in the ward there for an entire week. He spent the next year in an out of that ward, not seeming to be getting much better. Finally, when he was almost sixteen he was completely released from the hospital. He relapsed a couple of times afterwards, but now has been clean nearly an entire year. Still, he always wears a hoodie as a sort of cover to hide his scars. It also helps with his anxiety which he has developed as a result of isolating himself for so long. Whenever he feels anxious, he just tugs his sleeves down over his hands and pulls the hood over his head.
Last year, as a present on his sixteenth birthday, his mom gave him a kitten she'd gotten from the local adoption center that he named Cassidy. Cassidy has since become his bestest friend, and he loves her more than anyone.

Hey, I'm Tristan Fennec Welch, but you can call me Fennec or Tristan, whichever you prefer. Oh, and no, I'm not related to the jelly people.

Anywho, I am your average, crazy, totally gay senior in high school! I like to make friends so that I can torture them, and I'm a major jokester! My current project is Chancey. He's so cute! I'm going to make him so fabulous, you'll have a hard time believing he's straight. Trust me.

So, I don't have all too much of a story to share. I was born and raised in a small town in Kansas, practically in the middle of nowhere. Blech, boring. My mom found ought I was gay when I was fifteen and kicked me outta the house, so I left and moved around the country for a bit. I eventually landed here, and I've been living here for nearly a year now. I live in a small apartment in the center of town, and it's pretty nice. Small, but relaxed. Quite honestly, I'm really glad I left my mom in Kansas. I've been so happy ever since! I've been openly gay, amd have had loads of boyfriends over the years. Yeah, maybe I jump into relationships a little fast, but I can't help it, I'm just a very flirty person!

Hello. My name is Hana, which is Japanese for flower. I'm Tristan's pet skunk. There's not really all that much to say about me really. He adopted me when he was seventeen and living in California. I'm very calm and quiet, and pretty shy too. I don't like to come out when other people are around, and I tend to instead just hide away under Tristan's bed. When we're alone, though, I'll curl up on his lap and cuddle. I like warmth a lot, and sometimes when I'm cold or tired I'll even curl up with Rusk, but it's pretty weird. Anyways, that's all. Bye.

Meric is a very sweet but incredibly shy boy with an anxiety disorder known as "selective mutism". Though there is nothing medically wrong with his voice, he does not speak at all, not even at home, unlike most kids with this disorder who behave and speak normally with family. His case is a particularly severe one and unique in the fact that he refuses treatment for it.
Though very polite, friendly, creative, intelligent, and generally likeable, Meric tends to melt into the background. He is shy and has a hard time standing up for himself, and his literal lack of voice doesn't help either. His anxiety gets even more in the way of his communicating with others, and as a result he is incredibly jumpy and overemotional. It isn't hard for things to get to him in the slightest. He also has issues in trusting others and finds opening up to other people to be difficult. Once his trust has been earned, though, he will be loyal to the end. Just don't break it, or else it will be very difficult to gain back. He is not terribly forgiving.

Meric is the only child of Jonathan Ryder and Elizabeth Cowell. Born by the young couple right out of high school, he had a poor but happy first few years of life, living in a small apartment with his parents. However, when he was five years old his mother suddenly walked out, no explanation or word of goodbye. The only things she left behind were a picture of her holding four-year old him in her arms and a stuffed dog he'd named James.
After his mother left Meric stopped talking. At first his father believed it was a form of grieving and did nothing to stop it. After awhile, though, he began to worry. He tried everything he could think of, even taking Meric to therapists and doctors, but the boy never spoke. By the time Meric was eight he'd given up on trying to make him speak. He hasn't said a single word since the day his mother left.
Now Meric carries his stuffed dog James everywhere with him. He even brings him to school, keeping him hidden away in his backpack. James is an anxiety tool for him, and he panics if he doesn't have the dog with him. He needs it whenever he feels panicked or upset or scared.
When he was eleven his maternal grandmother, whom his mother had always claimed had died, got into contact with them. She had been on bad terms with her daughter for many years and had never known of Meric's existence. Feeling bad, especially after learning of how her daughter walked out, she moved closer to him and his dad and began to help in his caring, even sending them money each month to help support them.

Personality: Riley is kind of quiet and serious when you first meet him, but once he opens up to you he is really fun and outgoing. He loves to just hang out and have a good time, and going on adventures (as he calls them) really excites him. He super sweet and kind, and rather intelligent as well. He is a little bit of a downer at times, however, so that's one thing for others to watch out for. He can also lose his temper at times, but only when seriously angered. For the most part, he's just a really sweet and caring guy.
History: Riley's mom dies when he was thirteen, and so he had to help his dad raise his little sister who at the time was only three. He struggled a lot with depression following his mom's death, and he even began to cut himself as a way to try and eliminate the pain. He stopped when he was seventeen, however, but still struggles with the depression a bit even now. He moved out of his dad's house the moment he graduated high school and turned eighteen, and he now lives in a small apartment on his own. He still visits his dad and sister every week, though, and plays with his younger sister or takes her out for lunch or to the park or movies.

History: Hazel's mom died in a car crash when he was little and his father fell into a deep depression as a result. REMOVED When he was twelve his grandmother learned of his rough treatment and called the cops on his father. His dad went to jail and he went to live with her instead. His life became more steady and he slowly became less jumpy and shy, opening up more to those around him. He made a few friends that helped him out further as well. After completing high school he decided that he wanted to go to college and packed up to go stay in the dorms. He still calls his grandmother every night though to tell her how he's doing and ask about her day.

Other: He has ADHD and, as stated before, calls his grandmother every night.
