timid; optimist; easily aggravated; loud

anka is quite the timid teenager, although that may not
be something that is common is teenagers like herself,
she doesn't really fit into the category of a rebel with
this trait. she often enjoys nature very much so, and
it separates her from most socialite things that she
could do. and even though she may seem that is natural,
she often tries to shoo herself away from her quiet,
timid side. she always tries the best she can to socialize,
but ends up failing and most people being uninterested in
what she has to say, meaning that she found herself stuck
and unchanging too late in her life. so that is why she has
her timid trait. although she may hate her timid trait, she
is an indefinitely a optimist, which most of the time restricts
her from being sad or mad at one thing for a period of time.
she somehow can dig up a good side to each bad situation,
no matter what the situation is. she always finds a way, and
cheers everyone up with her bright smile and kind words. she
always has loved this trait of hers, as she finds it helpful with
her own struggles, and she hopes to continue optimistic. anka
is also easily aggravated, which is odd for her nice traits
which have been described above. she is always aggravated at
the slightest loud chew, or even a repeated sneeze. she will
literally shoot you a menacing glare if you even dare to do that.
which is quite funny when she does so, because it looks like she
ate something bad combined with trying to sneeze when she glares.
anywho, just.. just don't say what i just described about her to
anka.. okay? as well as being aggravated, AND to add
on top of her weird change of traits, she is quite the loud one,
which kind of balances out her odd teenager side, to this regular
teen, moody side. she doesn't hesitate to speak up for nature, or
speak up for herself when it gets dangerously bad for her and she
can't control herself anymore. then her true loud, aggravated side
shines like a bright star.

a c c e s s o r i e s ;
-> flower crown <-
this flower crown was made when anka first
got really into nature and such, so it's very
important to her, and it's also special because
all the flowers she found matched up to be the
colors of the rainbow! <3

->pink heart locket <-
a necklace that she made when she was little,
and she really enjoyed crafts. inside is a picture
of her whole entire family at thanksgiving. next
to it is a picture of her climbing a tree, which
reminds her of nature.

-> silver bracelet <-
anka found this bracelet in the grass when she was
about 10, and it had her name engraved in it, which
was odd, and she asked everyone around her family if
they bought it for her, and none of them said they knew
of it, so it's special to her because she thinks that
something magical must've happened.


h a b i t s/ q u i r k s ;
- chews on ice when nervous or intimidated.
~ anka has always had this odd habit/quirk with her, as
she finds the crunching action of the ice relaxing
and calming somehow, so she often does this in
nervous or large choice situations ~

- tail quivers when sad
~ again, an odd habit/quirk, but she quite frankly uses
this as a sign for her optimism to come and kick
in if she's sad, so this habit is actually useful ~

Now, to some people, Christmas may only seem like a time of year to get presents. Others, to see the frost outside. It doesn't matter what you think Christmas is, but to young little Anka, I shall tell you the story of what Christmas is to her.

Christmas Day, December 25th; Anka - 7 years old
[first person pov]

I groaned inwardly as my alarm clock went off singing a happy merry song, repeatedly singing one verse. I sighed and turned over, switching the annoying thing off. I licked my dry lips as I blinked, trying to get my blurry vision from sleeping to making it clear. I squinted a bit as I looked at my calendar unsure of what day could simply mean this alarm clock had to wake me up so early. I rubbed my eyes with my hands turning into fists. I also shook my head for extra measure, in case my vision was still a bit blurred. Thankfully, it wasn't, but as I carefully checked the red, 'x's', on the calendar, this day landed straight on the twenty-fifth. Right.. the 25th, what was that again? My mind was jumbled up from a tireless sleep, and I slowed widened my eyes as I realized what day it was.

IT WAS CHRISTMAS!

My small smile that I had before turned into a happy grin, as I bounced out of bed, shoving all my siblings awake in their beds as my feet slapped against the cold hardwood floor, running excitedly to see how many presents there were under the tree. I had waited many days for this day to come, wishing it would be here sooner, and it finally paid off on all the waiting. Because.. there were tons of presents under the Christmas tree! Literally, I think there was a gazillion or something like that. My mouth dropped wide open at the sight of so many presents, like.. who wouldn't! I squealed loudly and jumped up and down, hurrying my brothers and sisters to the room where the tree was. They too, had the same expression as me, and we all jumped and squealed together. Not long after inspecting presents and looking for names, my mum and dad showed up, smiling. They told us we couldn't open the presents yet.. and that made me sad, but what was really cool was that, once all of our family came over and gave us their own presents, we could open them! I was super duper happy after my dad and mum said that, because we have ALOOTTT of family. Like seriously, there's like.. 100 of them or something! Anyway, shortly after that, my dad and mom said to go change into our normal clothes and start cleaning up our rooms, because they would be here in about 4 hours. And even though that was far away, it seemed so short!

I hummed a song quietly in my room as I put my last finishing toys away in the drawers, and I sighed, yawning a bit after that. Wow, I never knew cleaning a room could be as to so tiring like this. I plopped down on my bed for a few minutes before I heard the wonderful sound of the door's doorbell. I smiled widely and fixed myself up before saying,"I'll get it!" and my dad yelling back an okay. I cleared my throat and gave my best smile as I opened the door, and wow.. I SAW SO MANY PANCAKIN' PEOPLE. I waved my hand shyly as my timidness kicked in slowly, and I mentally slapped myself for doing so. Wow.. just now did I have to be shy around people.. seriously? I gestured inside for my family members to get out of the cold outside, and they slowly thanked me as they got inside and my brothers and sisters started greeting them. I blinked in response as I remembered each of their names, mikasa, pann, link, zelda, who-ever his name is, jean, and aka! I closed the door after aka stepped in, and I was met with her bright eyes shining at me, and she picked me up and twirled me around in the air. I giggled softly and hugged her saying,"Hi Ankie!!" I smiled at her as she greeted me back,"Hello Anka! How are you doing? You've grown so much since last Christmas, no?" I nodded slowly and hugged her once more before stalking off to greet someone else. It's not that I didn't want to reply to Aka, it's just that it felt awkward. I glanced around the room everyone was standing in, and my eyes caught someone very special.. JEAN! I rushed over to him quickly and screeched happily,"JEAAANNNN!" Jean looked at me confused, and then widened his eyes as I jumped on him happily. I just loved Jean, he was amazing, even though some people thought of him as weird and so they call it,"insane", but I just simply found good in him anyway. He slowly patted my back, and he pushed me off him, as I giggled nervously. Yeah, he could be this way sometimes, but hey, at least he had one person. I greeted him nicely, and said how glad I was to have him here, before scurrying off. I liked it when I ended the conversation with the last word.. it made me feel... more dominate.

After greeting everyone warmly, we did about an hour of just discussing things, then eating things, we immediately ran over to the tree, every adult placing gifts under the tree while all the kids closed their eyes. But I can't say we didn't peek the teeniest bit, because I'd be lying, and lying is bad. Any-who, after all the adults said to finally open our eyes, and we did.. THERE WERE LIKE A KAZILLION PRESENTS NOW. And kazillion is more then a gazillion, right..? Anyway, we jumped into the pile of presents, and we giggled like we were swimming but through presents, which is ten times better then regular swimming. After we all opened one present, we all got really hyped up, because all of these presents were really expensive in real life, so I dunno how Santa has the money for all of this! He must be super duper rich. I tore through presents, and I thanked everyone who had a name on it, and i LOVED each and every one of the presents. Then it came down to one last present.. it was big.. and really tall. It wasn't even under the Christmas tree it was that tall! I looked around and everyone seemed to be staring at me, as all my other siblings were ushering me that the big box was mine. I was confused at first, but then I turned really happy, and I scrambled over to the big box, opening it. And there was only one thing inside.

And as most kids would cry and ask why.. I just simply smiled and said thank you quietly. You know why? Because to me, Christmas isn't about getting what you want, seeing snow outside, my reason is..

hello judges! wow, um.. i don't really know what to say.. i just.. am really happy that you have given this chance to users like me and the ones entering in this contest. i thank you many times for this opportunity, and i have really bonded with anka's personality over the course of this form. i can really connect with her in real life and on here, but just so you know, i want her to go to the best place possible with the person who bonds most with her. win or lose, i will be happy c:
