In reality, Josh can use whichever magic was last used against him (this excludes gatekeeper magic and transformation magic). When he was little he was attacked by an ice Mage, which gave him ice magic. He was taught ice magic for most of his life, so he doesn't know his actual power.

Interesting. So then, why are you at Fairy Tail? Why join here?
