Although I feel like this kinda begs a very good question: Will Streamstar ever find peace?

@paws; yeah like Streamstar being totally fine with like Rosemaryleaf because they don't look like Stagleap and is a non-southwind related cat. But like as kits Streamstar was around and loved them though because they didn't know about Southwind's relations yet but something had like changed when that happened since then. Like no constantly seeing them in the nursery all the time.
I wonder how it would make her relationship with Windstorm too @cradily, I could see them being somewhat close maybe?

@Stormy, I can see Windstorm and Rainwhisker being close :> It will be good for her to have at least one friend, she probably won't have too many lol, except for maybe Quiverheart since she mentored her. And yeah I think I will just wait until Weasel and Dapple have their second litter if that's okay, that way Cas doesn't have to change the NPC names and I can play a kit character, since all of mine are warriors right now.

I've also discussed with Cas and I'm actually going to be changing Sparrowwing (JackdawXSplash's kit from their first litter) from an NPC to Magpieflight, who I'm now going to play, that way I have one more cat in OakClan. I'll post his form a bit later today.

A New Hope's Family Tree is now (mostly) finished! You can check it out here.

Unfortunately it's listed as Morningstar's tree because he's the cat I started with and the site won't let me change that now, but it's really just meant to be a comprehensive tree of all noteworthy cats, past and present, and all their relations to each other. I tried to include every single roleplayed cat as well as all their known family members and current/former mates. This does mean I had to make some characters very, very distantly related to each other, since the site doesn't let me include completely unrelated cats, but I tried to do so in a way that doesn't make anyone too closely related, and I believe I ran most of these decisions by their roleplayers first to make sure it was okay.

You can search for any character you'd like at the bottom right of the page. If I've missed anyone or anyone has any questions or qualms about anything on the tree, please let me know!

Yeah maybe since the age difference they became friends while Windstorm was an apprentice and Rainwhisker was on her patrol once or something. They just got along and clicked well. If you want to do that, whatevers easiest for you but kits are nice too because you can let them grow into their personality and stuff.

Very cool family tree Cradily! Though it was causing some problems for my laptop at first, but then again my laptop is 8 years old so I shouldn't be too surprised! XD

Thanks guys! Hopefully it'll make remembering who's related to who a bit easier haha. Cas also has most of the cats' relations on the front page of ANH's new thread so that should help a lot too!

And speaking of relations, I did just wanna work out a couple more former mentorships for my own cats. I'm super bad at remembering who mentored who so if any of my ideas clash with previously established mentorships feel free to lmk lol

@Stormy, what do you think of Mistflower mentoring Embercloud? They're both pretty laid-back so I think they would've gotten along nicely, and having an apprentice around this time probably would've helped Mistflower take her mind off her feelings for Swiftbadger/Deertail.

@Tainted, do you think Goldenrose could have mentored Ambereyes? I think Amber would've gravitated to a tough she-cat like her naturally anyway, given that her mother was most likely pretty depressed after her father died.

@Amnesia, maybe Wrensight could've mentored Doestep? They're both pretty adventurous and frisky, although Wren's a bit more serious and short-tempered while Doe is happy-go-lucky, so I think they would've ultimately balanced each other out nicely, even if they got on each other's nerves sometimes haha

@Queen, could you see Silverhawk being Creekbelly's mentor? Creek is pretty serious and doesn't really like anyone, was probably a poorly behaved apprentice, but if anything maybe he and Silver would've had something in common since neither of their biological fathers were there for them, even if Silver did have a pretty good adoptive father in Messfur.

And finally, @Cas, whenever you take a look at Magpieflight, what do you think of Fawnpounce being his former mentor? Let's face it, Magpie is messed up and I don't think anyone could've changed that, but I'm sure Fawn would've done his absolute best with him. And hey, they may have their loneliness and lack of deep bonds with others in common, at the very least.

Like I said I'm the worst at remembering who's mentored who and what was going on with these characters at the time, but I don't thiiink any of these ideas interrupt anything, but correct me if I'm wrong!

Sure. I Do believe that she would have been really tough on her just because she hasn't had an apprentice make it until they were named a warrior so this would be good for her and probably open her up more

Tbh WrenSight wouldn't have been the best mentor since she's a bit neglectful of her duties but if your fine with that then DoeStep could definitely have been her apprentice, I do think they'd have gotten along fairly well when Wren was actually doing her job lol

also @all my cats are open for relationships, though I'd prefer to keep Fern and Gorse with very small friend groups as I can't see them having a lotta friends
