are multiple people (like 3 to 4 or 5) allowed to be interacting in the same place?

i ask bc sometimes on other rps ill try and tag someone, or ask, and there's already 1 or 2 others with them, and sometimes other users will say "Hey, why don't you go tag someone else, so there's not so many people together?" or things along those lines. that bugs me, bc usually the user i talk to about doing that wouldn't have even cared in the first place if i joined the group, it's only one more oc

Some people have problems with it, once people start replying out of order, and somebody gets left out. It's no fun in a group setting when one character never gets the chance to interact. But usually, I have no complaints about it, if someone asks me directly before jumping in.

Also if anyone needs, my human, Aaron, is currently on the streets by himself. c:
