She craves the end of the world. Always the pessimist, she rolls her eyes at grins and groans at laughter. If someone is praying, she'll invalidate all of their religious beliefs and tell them their prayers are for nothing. When something tugs at her heart strings, she gets very disgruntled and tries to hide it the best she can.
She's very rough and rude, and most of all, apathetic. Suelita causes a lot of trouble for people, especially those in her family. She's just so tired of everything, and wants to give up. Oddly enough, this fuels her determination to cause the apocalypse.
She's always searching for something called the 'Destruct Code', which is an artifact she heard of from a book she stole from Vendeta. It's said that this can turn everything on the planet to elemental sand, and reset the world to start anew. This appeals to her, because she loathes the world and everything in it.

Hades is quite the harsh one, and doesn't hold back his opinion on things. You can't ask him to keep a secret for you. He won't break any oaths or promises, or make others do it out of mere respect. If you make him promise to keep a secret, he will. Only for honour. Note, his being adamant on keeping honour is not to the extreme extent of Zuko, a relative of his.
Hades carries grudges for years, and will stubbornly hate someone for something for longest of time. He has an okay memory, so he won't forget. He can get distant and bitter when he's holding a grudge against someone.
When he gets close to someone, he gets a little clingy, and tries to initiate and maintain physical contact as much as possible.

------Sidereus has an incredibly steady hand, and has a knack for making clothes and other accessories. If she gives you a piece she sewed, that means she likes you, because she puts an incredible amount of effort in each.

✦ origin :

------Out in Canis Minor, there is a star named Gomeisa. Orbiting this star are two planets, the first of which is named Gomeisa 1. The residents of this planet liked to call their sister Gomeisa 2, but that is not that planet's official name. It is Mizuxe.
------The natives of Gomeisa 1 had 2 main civilizations. A more technological, logical, down to earth society that was highly inventive, and another that focused on the cosmic, spiritual, and divine. The Inventors had the glowing eyes common to all Gomeisans (Gomeisa 1 was dark), insectoid wings that developed after puberty, and glittery paint to reflect light, but otherwise looked like Earthlings (apart from their standard-issue hearing enhancing headbands). The Diviners, however, looked rather different. They had long ears to catch divine whispers, and glowing eyes. They were the astronomers, astrologers, fortune-tellers, preachers, and artists... their predictions were always spot-on.
------Their interactions, though few, were always peaceful. The Inventors shared their life changing inventions, innovations and ideas, and the Diviners gave their knowledge of the future, truths of the past, and other words from the stars. The history of the two civilizations go way back, because it was a long time ago that they'd decided to split up the religious and secular responsibilities amongst themselves. The Diviners and Inventors respectfully stayed separate from each other... usually.
------There have been times where a Diviner and an Inventor had inter-civilizational relations and had mixed offspring. This is frowned upon in Gomeisan society, but it happens. The children gain a mixture of both Diviner and Inventor characteristics, along with a lot of mutations. The mutations are undesirable and make life more difficult.
------In Sidereus' case, they inherited the long ears of the Diviners, but Inventor genes interfered and made them hard of hearing. This was (only slightly) remedied by a standard issue headset, distributed to all Inventors. The headsets look like antannae, and function like hearing aids.
------They get odd and prophetic dreams on rare occasion, but in them, the stars usually speak of things that are partially wrong and partially right. The dreams are about insignificant things mostly, like tripping or eating something really good.
------Mutation took the glittering property of the paint that all Gomeisans had, and gave them the curse of tasting their disgusting emotions.





------A Gomeisan awoke, the taste of fear still burning her tongue. They hated tasting emotion. This wasn't supposed to be common, but they had it anyways, along with their other stupid side affects.
------They could feel the metallic sound waves grinding in their Diviner's ears still. The crippling and sharply stabbing pains of their lungs reacting badly to the atmosphere collapsing under the pressure of the chemicals. The taste of panic, both from themselves and others. The tears forced out of their eyes burning their face. Those were vague feelings. One thing, though, stayed with them like a stain. A Mizuxin ship floated above the thickness of the atmosphere and deadly gases.
Sidereus didn't cry out. They just stared at the ceiling. Mouth pulled ajar in horror.
------"It was only a dream, 'Reus, and it was a short one..." they muttered to themselves. The faintness of their voice reminded them. They got up, fastened the headset tightly around their head, and set out for a walk outside.
------Long in advance, Sidereus should have known of the incoming end.





------Riots had been breaking out for weeks now. Immigrants from Mizuxe had come because of the drastic changes that were taking place. An empire was being formed, and everything was becoming authoritarian and controlled.
------Between the immigrants experiences and the Diviner's prophecies of an attack, there was no way the governers could keep the peace. It was a scary time, and it was every Gomeisan for themselves. Reus was forced out of their home by a rebel group with weapons, and had to take to the streets.
------Looting, fires, murder. All of that was happening, but it could never compare to what was coming.





------It had been long ago when the Mizuxin Empire created an apocalypse. Sidereus vaguely knew why. Mizuxe wanted Gomeisa 1 to join their empire, and, despite the warnings from the Diviners and immigrants, they declined. The Gomeisan believed that that was the best decision to make. They'd rather die than hand their life, their home, their culture, over to the Empire. All of that would have been destroyed, but it got destroyed anyway.
------What they'd really love to do is wring the life out of a Mizuxin's neck right about now.

------"Why have the stars devastated us in this way?!"
------Reus cringed as they heard the wail of a dying survivor. Keep moving, don't let anyone take your life! ...That motto of theirs was pretty weak when it was being tested. They wanted to help. All life was precious, wasn't it? At least that's what the Diviners said.
------Temptation and goodwill pushed Sidereus to find the voice, and be aid. They avoided dangerous wreckage and the dead, and got to the one in need.
------It was an Inventor, trapped under a fallen building support. It was just their arm, so Reus figured there was no harm in rolling the thing off. The Gomeisan whispered gratitude. Their name was Fedium, they said. Sidereus had made an ally, someone to trust.

------"You gotta come with me! We're the only ones left!"
------Fedium tugged on Reus' arm with all of their weak might. Their friend had found a prototyped escape pod that had miraculously been left. They didn't want to leave. This planet had only two lives left on it, for all they knew. Sidereus wanted to keep it alive.
------"No, Fed, I'm staying. You can run off like a coward. I will stay here, at our home, no matter what. Besides, it only fits one person." They must have gotten through to Fedium, because they backed down and meekly nodded. Finally.
------"Okay... I'll go scout out more food for today..." They scampered off.

------Later, Sidereus felt an overwhelming feeling of drowsiness. Why was this...? They could barely stay upright. They never felt drowsy, despite feeling exhausted all the time. They managed to crawl a short distance before Fedium appeared and picked her up.
------"I... I think something's wrong with me..." they mumbled through their gas mask. Fed just nodded as they proceeded to the escape pod they found earlier. They poked their fingers under the hatch and forced it open, then gently laid Reus in.
------They had done this. "Fed... no..." The pod turned on, immediately activating the life support and stasis systems. Fedium tearily waved a farewell as the door snapped shut.
------ACTIVATING ESCAPE PROGRAM.

------Sidereus was forced out of stasis. They groggily gazed around the small spacecraft, forgetting where they were.
------HABITABLE PLANET FOUND: SOL 3. APPROACHING SOL 3.
------Oh god. They remembered all of it. The bliss of hibernation ebbed away, and with a shock, they recalled everything in crisp detail. The immigrants screaming. The Diviners warning. The death of Gomeisa 1, their home. The Mizuxin ships. Fedium's tear wet face. Sidereus angrily kicked the side of the pod.
------"Sol 3, huh? Any Gomeisan escape pods found?" she said, anger rising in her throat like bile.
------PRESENCE OF AT LEAST ONE GOMEISAN ESCAPE POD CONFIRMED. SIGNS OF MULTIPLE GOMEISANS ON SOL 3. Sidereus hated how the craft's voice broadcasted inside their head. Eugh, talk about invasive.
------"Any Mizuxin technology found?"
------PRESENCE OF MIZUXIN TECHNOLOGY CONFIRMED.
------"I'm going to kill them..."

------Sidereus is obsessed and has the biggest crush on her. Ever since they'd landed on this planet, Mae was the one that showed exceeding hospitality and kindness to them. Reus had even sewn her a strong harness to use in her parkour, as a 'thank you' gift. They get along well together, and often hold long conversations for hours. Well, at least they did.


Clovis - Captor & Enemy


------When Reus found out that Mae's father is Clovis, a Mizuxin highly ranked in the empire, they near murdered them. The situation didn't end well for either of them... Clovis was bleeding heavily, and Reus had been captured in an advanced prison on board the ship.
------She's still in there. Maebh doesn't even know, because her parent told her that her friend had fled quickly after the fight, and said that they didn't want to ever see her again. So, Sidereus is stuck captive, left with nothing to do. Sometimes, Clovis will feed them and give them water, but that's a rare occurance.


Gomeisa - Ally


------Clovis has captured them both, and placed them in cells across from each other. They've been chatting, of course. It didn't take long for them to recognize each other as Gomeisa 1 inhabitants. It was a huge relief for her to meet him, because she was getting lonely being a prisoner by herself.
------Gomeisa is an Inventor, so he has been brainstorming some escape plans. Reus feels bad because she can't help very much, due to being neither and both Diviner and Inventor, so she just cooperates the best she can.

Mother values all forms of life, and so she easily gets upset and emotional about things. When one of her children are sad, she tries her hardest to cheer them up, and gets incredibly distraught when it proves to be harder than she thought. Her maternal ways make her love everything.
With her motherly nature comes condescending feelings. She feels like every wilx needs to be protected and loved by her, and is always giving constant advice.

Lastly, her surname comes from her large family. The Mexican surname is Spanish for the plural of "flower".

Pyxis is very untrustworthy. She finds humor in spreading rumors, and laughs when people believe them. She is very extroverted, and makes as many friends as she does enemies. As a teenager, she got addicted to energy drinks and coffee, so she has to constantly drink the stuff to bring herself to a normal level of energy. If she goes without her caffeine, she gets very tired and irritable.

Zephyr - Gender fluid - They/them - Youngest sibling

A majority of these two's interactions are filled with Zephyr screaming, and Pyxis taunting. Zeph hates her affinity for memes, and always sends hate anons to her blogs. This leads her to find mirth in her sibling, so she continues to tease him by saying things like 'TFW you find out a blog you're following supports coleslaw', 'PROTECT THE TREMBLING SWEDISH YARN MAN', 'what's your favourite colour of the sky, Zephyr?', etc. She usually doesn't get to finish that last one, because it's only a matter of seconds before her sibling interrupts her and loses their mind.

Kelly & Cendrawasih - Female & N/A - She/her & they/them - Younger sister and younger sibling (twins)

Pyxis doesn't know Kelly very well. Even before she had left to become the cook of a pirate ship full of zombies, Pyxis didn't bother becoming too close to Kelly. The same goes for Cendra... She finds her obsession with escaping via ferry odd. This place isn't too bad, right? Unless the grass is greener elsewhere.

Filigree - Female - She/her - Older sister

Pyxis was the only one home when Filigree came home with a whole nest of bats a long time ago. She was freaked out at first, but gradually got more desensitized to them. Her sister can be quite... batty, but that's what she loves about her the most.
Filigree is the one responsible for her vast knowledge of bats, and her love of them, too. She doesn't mind talking with her sister about them. Don't tell anyone, but she actually loves doing that. Vermont had to tell them to go to bed on multiple occasions, because of how late they'd stayed up, holding intense conversations about bats.

Vermont is sort of a role model for her. They acted as the parent to all five younger siblings, and did an okay job. They literally raised all of them.
As a kid, she totally followed them around all the time, trying to figure out how to be more like them. She doesn't let it show anymore, though, and just silently tries to be more like them. Her love for video games came from them, so that's why you'll find gaming related posts on her blogs sometimes.

Dillon - Nonbinary - He/him - Friend

Pyxis is a fan of his YouTube channel. She watches his videos a lot, so when she saw him taking a walk, she got excited, but introduced herself civilly. Dillon doesn't know that she's a fan, so becoming friends wasn't too difficult for them!
They often talk about social justice, especially since both are genderqueer.

Penumbra - Cryptogender - She/her - Close friend

It's odd how these two are friends. Pyxis hates children, but when others point out that Pen, one of her close friends, is one, she claims she's different. She is. She's a lot more mature, and more quiet. Pyxis likes this in a kid, because growing up, her little siblings were the worst to deal with.
It gets a bit annoying when she's trying to interact with her and she withdraws, though. When she found out she had social anxiety, she researched it and educated herself. She just wants to act as a sort of older sibling figure to Penumbra, because she knows the horrors the world will give you for having something like that, since Pyxis has schizophrenia.
Pyx doesn't know Pen is cryptogender yet, but will gladly help her figure her identity out when she does.

Clovis - Genderless - Any pronouns - Enemy

Pyxis met this Gomeisan when they'd first landed. In fact, she was the only Earthling around when they came off of their ship. They immediately lured her into their ship, and subdued her by putting her in some kind of advanced prison cell. She was stuck in there for many days, all by herself and starving, when there was a power outage. She took her opportunity to escape and did so through a window.
She'd been promising herself the whole time that she was going to kill him before she escaped, but she couldn't bring herself to do it. She wasn't a killer.

Mufon - Male - He/him - Close friend

Mufon isn't as close to Pyx as Penumbra is, but he's closer to her than Dillon.
They first met when she was eating lunch at McDonalds on a Wednesday. It wasn't as populated as usual, so she noticed the kid sitting all by himself. He seemed to be crying, all frustrated. She guessed he hadn't seen her yet, so she approached him. She asked if he was okay, and instead of answering her question, he asked another.
"Do you think aliens are real?" Pyx, of course, said that they were real. They had to be. She wondered aloud why he would ask that, though, and he said he'd encountered aliens a while ago, but no one believed him. He showed her a green gem around his neck.
She recognized that. It was aventurine, the kind of crystal that that alien, Clovis, had been hoarding. She explained to him that she knew what it was, and said she met alien activity, too.
They grew closer after that, and search for Clovis together a lot.

Evan - Gender queer male - He/him - Enemy

Pyxis has had many encounters with him. This is because he's been hunting for K'huthari, a runaway Eldritch abomination oracle, and last saw her interacting with Pyxis. He won't leave her alone about it. She'd only given K'huthari some food, because she was hungry and looked like she was having a hard time finding some.
The last time Evan hassled her, she attacked him with her kubotan and called the police on him. He really creeps her out, so she hopes he doesn't come after her again.

history:

He was born in Mexico, then was kidnapped and forced to become a part of a pirate crew. Eventually, he worked his way up the ranks, and fell in love with the captain. The captain died during a fight with their enemies, so they entrusted the ship and the crew with him.
They continued their life as a captain for forty years, and then married another person. They settled down together after he retired, and had Maria. Later, his spouse died of cancer. Maria took this badly, and left to become a pirate.
Now he's just a fisherman that likes to tell stories to his two other kids, Calico and Thatch.

Lino had Maria with his first partner. They died when Maria was just thirteen, so she took it very badly. She left soon after that. Lino didn't know what happened to his daughter, but when he heard of the stories and legends of a pirate captain that raised the dead to be her crew, he knew it was her. He was very disappointed and mourned the fact that she followed in his footsteps.
He learned that she had killed her first partner, and cut his surname from hers, just leaving the odd 'de'. He thought this very scary, and decided to stay away from her.

He enjoys telling his children of his life, and about other stories he made up. He feels guilty for not being able to support Maria and keep her from leaving, so he holds these two close and treasures them like nothing else he owns.
