zayden jaythorne. he's that arrogant pretty boy who struts around like he owns the place.
the one everyone hates but can't help but admire at the same time. true to his controlling
nature, zayden immediately takes charge of any situation he's in. everything goes his way
and no one else's- end of story. he believes things such as trust and loyalty have no value and
only create weakness within a person, and greatness of a man is measured through how
easily and efficiently he can massacre. aside from life's guilty pleasures, zayden focuses on
the task at hand and hardly ever strays from that. he was conditioned to feel absolutely
nothing and to wield weapons of all sorts to their greatest capacity. at only eighteen years
of age, he is a picture perfect killer. but contrary to popular belief, zayden was not born like
this. killers are never born; they're made. like most people of the career districts, zayden's
family takes the games very seriously. all four of the jaythorne boys were enrolled in only the
highest predigested training schools. unfortunately these kinds of schools focus on results, not
the process of getting them, so when young zayden was having trouble grasping the idea of
murder and how to commit it no tactic of understanding was too brutal. dunking in ice baths,
pressure point abuse, sound confusion- everything they could pass off as a 'learning experience'
they got away with. torture like this is what twisted zayden into the monster he is now.

seething inside him. though he'd much rather blend into
the background and observe, he constantly finds himself
in the spotlight. ren's erratic behavior will either crown him
victorious or induce his death, as he secretly does not want
to ally with the rest of the careers. he sees promise in
other district tributes who possess knowledge and skills
that he does not. even though he has the up-most capability
ren has no immediate desire to kill anyone. that and
stealth are his greatest weaknesses. his strengths, however,
are agility and his close combat skills. his weapon of
choice is a war hammer, but he would be fine with an axe.
