deerpurr was raised by a rogue mother and her new rogue father who had quit being a warrior to spend time with his mate and kits. deerpurr wasn't the only kit born, but her two brothers fell and drowned in the river as they were searching for a new home, and so did their mother. by then, deer had been six moons. she was fascinated by her father's stories of being a warrior, and soon ventured into OceanClan.

Belief: deerpurr believes starclan are the ones who allowed her into the clan
Extra: deerpurr is excellent at climbing the cliffs, but not as good at swimming with her thick coat
weighing her down in the water.
