Image/Description: A small young she-cat with sleek white fur and black eyes. Some greyish areas around her tail and paws.
Name: Shinefur
Gender: Female
Clan: Thunderclan
Rank: Young warrior
Personality/Skills: Shinefur has a feisty personality - often getting her into trouble. She enjoys hunting, and is a moderately skilled fighter. She has some minor knowledge of herbs/treatments, due to being a medicine cat apprentice for a short period of time, but can't tell yarrow from deathberries - a mistake that led to some caution taken around the medicine den for a few days.
Important Notes: None
Ah, good! My spiels have given at least some information. Glad to see that I'm educating a little bit, haha.
Name Rating: 7/10
Name Type: Canonical
Name Reasoning: -fur seems to fit her well, since she doesn't have any outstanding skills but is certainly moderately successful at everything. However, Shine- doesn't work well.
When a kitten is born, it's not very shiny - speaking from experience here - they're wet, tubby, and darker than they will be in a few days. Names referring to the texture of the fur, rather than the fur color itself (which reminds me to put that up on the names list) are very sketchy, since you can't guarantee that the cat will stay soft or shiny all their life. Besides that, being in the wild with dirt and mud and water and debris doesn't leave much time to be shiny, especially for long haired cats.
Alternative Name: Cloverfur/Lightfur. Both prefixes refer to a white/light colored cat, and her suffix is fine as is.
Character Rating: 8/10
Character Reasoning: Another anecdote of education: black eyes are not possible on a cat. Black eyes would look bizarre on a cat, especially one with white fur, and the only way a cat could have relatively dark eyes is if they had pupils that were constantly dilated, which I don't think would be healthy. Deep green or orange eyes would work fairly well (or blue-brown - mismatched eyes are a thing as well, so you could consider that).
"Feisty" isn't much of a trait, since it could encompass a lot of things (and is generally regarded as a cliched personality in the books, but I digress). However, you do have some stuff to work with, which helps a lot.
She could be someone who's eager to learn and help but has the attention span of a goldfish, and can get bored easily, leading to pranks or outings that end in her getting scolded. She may not put a lot of thought into what she's doing, hence the berries incident, but goes at everything in such a gung-ho manner that it's hard to say no to her.
Something like that might work instead of just a general "fiesty".
