real talk, tho, I really like the idea of a horse and a bird being best friends and pretending to be a pegasus together? Like I had this idea, like, a year ago of a like a sparrow and a horse trying to be a pegasus, but the birb is too small to lift up the horse so the horse pretends they're flying and it's just a really cute idea idky

Logistically I guess Malcolm might actually be able to make Dakota fly? Like his bird size is limited by existing matter, so he can't have more matter as a bird than he has as a human, so he could be a human sized bird maximum and with dakota being smol he might actually be able to pull that off?
