Hey guys! Sorry we've been so inactive lately, but I wanted to pop on real quick on behalf of Cas to let you all know that A New Hope will be on indefinite hiatus as of right now. Cas and I both have a lot going on in our personal lives right now that makes it hard for us to find the time and mental energy to keep ANH going the way we'd like to, and it seems like that might be the case for a lot of you as well, seeing as how inactive we've all been, so I hope you all understand. We love ANH and this is by no means a shutting-down of it, we just need a break until things have settled down a bit. Thank you.

first and foremost - big shout out to Cradily for announcing my hiatus. it was unexpected and very sudden, so i appreciate her having my back. i've had a lot going on in my personal life, but hey, i'm back now.

how is everybody? i suppose the first thing to do is to gauge everybody's interest here, to see if they still want to continue a new hope.
so please, let me know how you're doing since it's been so long, and if you would be interested in bringing this roleplay back to life. c:

I'm doing good! I adopted a kitten which has been very exciting!!
I would be interested in continuing if people are still up for it. I think the plot has a lot of potential and I would love to see it continue :)

Hey girl! I'm glad to hear things are okay for you!

I am doing great! My 4th oldest brother's fiancé got a new job so we've been babysitting my nieces for the past 2 weeks and we are still going to watch them this week since she is undergoing training for her new job. We also got a pool last month, but we are still working on getting the deck up and ready so we can get in and out of it. Things that were canceled due to COVID started back up so that's been good for me as well!

I would absolutely love to continue this rp! I fell in love with the plot of this rp and I don't think I am ready to let it go just yet! <3

i'm excited to hear that interest is still there; i love these characters and our little rp group we have here! with that said, i suppose i will begin crafting a post then, and finally get everyone replied to, and then go from there in terms of members that are inactive. obviously no one is going to be penalized for inactivity right now, though i think that goes without saying.

@albino, i'm sure the hobby will certainly come in handy! and yeah; if you're in the states like i am, the heat has been pretty unbearable here lately, i can't imagine being pregnant during summer, i'm sure it's gotta be miserable. :0 still though, you'll be in my thoughts and i will absolutely be rooting for your and the baby's health and safety!! <3

@cj that is indeed incredibly exciting! i'm home for the summer with my kitty right now, too, and will finally get to take her with me when i move back since i'm escaping the dorms. having an adorable little sidekick can certainly improve any home! <3

@animals wow it sounds like you've been busy! kids can be exhausting, so i hope you've had time for yourself and rest while you've been watching over them. pools are awesome though!! i'm a big swimming fan, but haven't gotten to go yet this summer. we have a lot of things open as well here again, but they have been for a bit because i don't come from the most cautionary region lol. it's been really cool seeing some of my friends and things like that again though, and i think we're all feeling the excitement of a little more sunshine and socialization.

Yes, I'm in the states, we've hit 95 a couple days in a row up here where I am, and it's been miserable! Doesn't help, I have to drink more water then if I wasn't pregnant, and I get dehydrated more easier bleh

But I can wait to start rping again! I'm excited haha
