I thought I needed to put up forms for deceased characters but I think the adoptive parents would actually still be alive.

so, i do have a rule listed on the front about no clan character npcs. if they're outside of the clan, that's fine, but i'm not allowing any npc cats in roseclan for consistency's sake. as for shadow, bear, and wolf - i'm glad you like the idea! shadow would be one of the cats in the clan that wolf actually likes lol. i'll get a response up for your characters soon! oh, i also noticed one of them wished a good morning - just a reminder it is almost moon-high in the middle of the night, wasn't sure if you missed that or not c:

Yeah, I knew about that rule. My cats didn’t originally come from the clan, they were kittypets. So the NPCs (their parents and siblings) are all kittypets.
Anyway, yes. XD it was a very good idea. Whoops, kay, just ignore that. I figured it would just be morning, since your cats were up and about and getting food and stuff, and usually RPs start out in the morning.

and yeah, i typically start mine in the morning - but since the new deputy has to be named before moon-high as per the warrior code, it was necessary to start this one at night time. i know that makes things a lil bit awkward lol

So nice to see so many of you again! Here's some of my ideas for my cats' relationships with y'all's:

@junipurr, I think Timberwolf will be very protective over Lostpaw! Timber is also a bit of a nervous boy but incredibly loyal, so I think he'll recognize those same traits in Lostpaw and value him a lot for them. If you want, maybe Timber could be the warrior who found Lostpaw and invited him to join RoseClan?

@Queen, ooo I see someone has a crush on Timberwolf Timber is a tough nut to crack, he does get very clingy but he also tends to be attracted to cats that are emotionally unavailable, so I think this could make for some good romance drama.

@Cas and Queen, Fernpaw is definitely going to be closer to Crowwhisper and Freshbreath than any other cats in the clan, I think that much is obvious lol. I imagine she might be able to relate more to Crow, due to their shared experience of seeing/hearing things that aren't there, and confides in him about her "visions." Freshbreath, on the other hand, will probably be the one she feels calmer around and seeks solace in when she's feeling nervous, since Crowwhisper might just exacerbate that nervousness with his own. I imagine Freshbreath would be better at helping to distract her from her worries. She'll also notice that he sometimes gets overly stressed and forgets to do what he needs for himself, and thus making sure that he's not too distracted to care for himself will serve as a welcome distraction for her, if that makes sense.

My cats are also open to any other friends if anyone has any ideas!

i'll try to get another post up tomorrow! i'm working seven days straight and feel trapped in one long day rn, so i've not had much time. sorry gang ^^'

also, wanted to remind everyone of the plot since we've finally started! oh, and another reminder - roseclan's camp is in a cave behind a waterfall; the warriors and apprentices don't have dens, their nests just line the outer edges of the cave. c:

RoseClan hasn't been directly given a prophecy yet.

Nonetheless, the forest has felt darker as of late. The medicine cats have had dreams of danger - though what this danger is, no cat can say, or even find a clue for. In the last couple of seasons, cats have gone missing. Every couple of moons a cat will just vanish - from their patrol, from training with their mentor, even from their nest. No scent trail or blood remains, no sign of any sort of struggle. Cats have been on edge since the beginning of new-leaf, and now that green-leaf will soon be coming to a close, the tension has only risen. Patrols must be manned by at least four warriors, this not counting any apprentices present; no cat younger than twelve moons is allowed to leave camp alone. Cats not patrolling have been instructed to keep close to the camp, not to hunt at the territory's edges.
