I have two cats open for crushes if anyone wants.

Dovetail whose friendly and confident but also stubborn and can be petty. He's also a night owl so he doesn't like to be up in the morning but loves to go out at night.

Chickadeepaw who is Playful and bubbly though a slow learner and gets easily distracted but is trusting of others, even if it can be a bad thing.

I can see Larksong and Serintail having a cute friendship! although she probably be half-heartedly scolding him quite a bit for hanging around the cliffs, sort of like a "why cant you find a less dangerous thing that makes you happy pls", but ultimately she'd keep his secret if he trusted her with it

i was also going to ask you what you thought of Quetzalcrest and Larksong being romantically involved, but don't have him back down if you think he'd like Cardinalblaze! ^^ we can just leave it up to Lion probably for that- she'd know best who Cardinal would like more

Ospreycloud is a super generous and helpful guy, so it would make sense for him to have a lot of friends. He's been good friends with Sparrowleap since they were kits, and thus is somewhat of an older brother figure to her half-siblings Heronpaw (his own apprentice now too, which he's overjoyed about) and Flickerpaw. @Cats&Cucumbers I think he'd fit the bill of cats Larksong could trust and let her guard down around. He might end up liking her too, she seems like a sweetheart and other kind cats are certainly his favorite.
@CourtofLions Ospreycloud and Jaywatcher would probably get along too, maybe Osprey would be assuring/supportive to him since he's so shy and insecure.
@Everyone playing apprentices Ospreycloud loooooves helping apprentices learn and is a great teacher, so feel free to have them come to him for advice or an impromptu training session! He's everyone's big brother c:

And then Warblerstripe is an elder as well as former deputy, probably under the leader previous to Skuastar since he's still got 8 lives.
@inky. She'd probably be good friends with Owlstream, though that friendship would have occurred post-retirement, as she wasn't exactly the most friendly cat before her golden years.
@Anyone playing warriors it would be really cool for her to have been someone's mentor in the past, maybe a couple characters if their ages are 10 or so moons apart. Let me know if you'd like that to have been a thing!

yesss her and Serin would be such adorable friends. He’d probably make her his wingman for his little sort-of crush on Sparrowleap

Also her and Quetzal would be interesting as well! I never set anything in stone for roleplays so even if Lion could see him with Cardinal I usually end up letting the interactions take the lead and see what happens. Then again, given his personality he’d probably take them both on at once :””)

that's so true about Larksong and Ospreycloud- were you thinking for friends or romance? either way, i think they'd work great together
plus if she ends up consulting Serintail about Sparrowleap, that could be a reason for them to start seeing each other more, since he's close to Sparrow and she's close with Serin

perhaps Eaglestorm could be one of Warblerstripe's past apprentices? maybe her first, since he's one of the older warriors in the clan? he's an excellent fighter too, but because she's so tough and he's more of a 'cuddle me and i don't wanna do work' type, they'd probably have some funny stories from when he was an apprentice

omg that would be adorable and hilarious because Larksong has absolutely 0 clues about romance but she loves to help so she'd be like 'er.... yeah um... give her a... mouse. yes good job' xD

that's true xD aww poor Lark, but i wouldn't mind her getting the short end of the stick in a love triangle if Lion prefers Quetzal and Cardinal

I was also mulling over the idea of Eagle and Anhinga because they're so different- even if it didn't work out i feel like their interactions would be great xD

@Cats&Cucumbers I love both those ideas! I can see Lark being a bit off-put by Serin asking her for dating advice, and Osprey knows Sparrow so well that he could be like "Okay Lark this is what you tell him." Lmao it would be so quirky and adorable. And if Sparrowleap and Serintail become mates, Ospreycloud can come out and be like "it was me all along muahahaha!" to Larksong's embarrassment. She'd be all like "Shut up Osprey, sit down."

Warblerstripe would've still been pretty old when she trained Eaglestorm though, since he's 40 moons and she's 144, so he prolly wouldn't have been her first, but definitely her oldest living. She'd be quite fond of him. Not having any kits of her own and seeing how he's grown into such a strong warrior she would probably act motherly toward him.
