hojo is essentially a gentle giant. of course, being a trooper means he is strong and more than willing to risk his life, but when he's around his pack and his friends he is much more relaxed and gentle. he isn't afraid to put others first at the expense of himself, something he learned from a young age when he witnessed his mother do the same for him. the two were attacked by a few loners, and his mother got killed protecting a then-pup. hojo doesn't dwell on his mother's death - it was a long time ago, and it taught him a valuable lesson in emotional strength. hojo loves being in the company of other dogs, but isn't completely opposed to being on his own, either. he's overall very peaceful and has a calm energy that is refreshing to be around with so many scarier dogs out on the loose. he likes to spend his time just lying down, talking with others or having a small naps. however do not mistake hojo's kindness for weakness. he will not react well to being taken advantage of. he keeps his aggressive side in check, but he's not scared to release it.
