hello, hello! I'm sacrilegious, but feel free to call me duggie. I'm currently looking for a few new 1x1's after falling off the wagon for a week or two. for your ease, everything important will be in this odd blue/green color.
a bit about me: I am currently living in the est timezone. I am constantly stalking, but I am constantly at doctor's appointments and such, but I am being homeschooled for the time being after a surgery, so I can be online most of the day.I'm horrible at replying promptly, but if you shoot me a pm or bump the topic I'll post faster, I often forget. I am a relaxed high-lit roleplayer, you could push me to advanced, too. my starting posts are often 7-10 chunky paragraphs, but seeing as that I enjoy relaxed roleplays, my reply size does dwindle depending on muse, situation, and dialogue. if talking is going on, don't expect my posts to be huge: I don't like dwelling on my character's thoughts, feelings, or habits just to make a four paragraph post about talking about the weather. like I said, relaxed lit. I love romance roleplays, too, but if the roleplay is compelling enough it's not totally mandatory. I am comfortable playing all sexualities, ex: mxm, fxf, mxf. I enjoy thread roleplays, my dms are often glitchy. also, I only roleplay in third person pov (ex: he, him, her, she). having come from the foopets generation of roleplayers, I have had more than my fill of first person roleplays, and have grown in my literacy (in leaps and bounds) since then.
what I would like from you: literate or advanced, but relaxed about it if possible. I'd love someone that would like to talk while we're roleplaying, some ooc here and there really makes a roleplay. likes romance if possible. understanding of the fact I take forever to reply, but not afraid to remind me every once in a while.
some plot ideas: I'm equally interested in all of them, currently; feel free to pm me for more details.
someone I used to know: muse a and muse b were born to teen parents that weren't ready to take on fraternal twins, and were put up for adoption and given to separate families. muse a knows they're adopted. their new parents were very open about conversation and being truthful, but never told muse a about their twin sibling. muse b's family is a whole different story: dead-set on the idea that they are a whole, perfect family, muse b does not know they are adopted, and their parents would like to keep it that way. coincidentally, muse b, having been homeschooled their whole life, is enrolled at muse a's high school junior year, and they fall into the same friend group. their bond is eerie, often finishing each other's sentences or being able to pick up on each other's vibes easily. their practically the same person, though not identical, they look awfully alike. their music taste is the same, attitudes, favorite books and favorite movies. when muse a tells muse b that they're adopted, they begin to wonder if their closeness isn't just a great friendship... maybe muse b's parents have been hiding a truth.
coffee and cigarettes: muse a is a busker, and, late one friday night on the steps of a local theater, they meet muse b, who sits on the steps listening to muse a play for hours, having had ditched their friends at a club. they plan a coffee date for the next night, and find that they have a lot in common: both utter introverts, their relationship grows into something they never would have expected. (based on coffee and cigarettes, never shout never.)
I've never believed in psychics:muse a comes from a long line of psychics, and, in the area, they are near-famous for their spot-on readings. though muse a did inherit their psychic abilities, after a near-death experience while in brain surgery, she developed the gifts of a medium as well--and they aren't happy about it. muse a constantly feels haunted by spirits around her, but they have always accepted what her grandmother taught them: your gifts will always be useful to someone. after the town caught wind of muse a--a new, powerful psychic and a medium--their tiny shop has been filled with people looking for readings, and to connect with lost love ones. muse b has never believed in the supernatural, but after passing the small shop with a group of friends, they are dragged in, their friends eager to see into their futures. reluctantly, muse b lets muse a read their palm, a tea reading, and tarot card reading--their most popular request for groups. muse a doesn't like what they see for muse b--muse a sees themselves in muse b's future.
power couple: muse a and muse b are two halves of an a-list celebrity couple. between the two, they have millions of fans and millions of dollars to spend on whatever they so please. despite occasional trash-talking tabloids, they seem to be the poster couple of hollywood. from affectionate gestures on the red carpet to romantic dinners at the trendiest restaurants around, the couple is always seen together. outside of their gated home, the couple can't get a minute of privacy... but that's perfectly alright with them. their whole relationship is one big publicity stunt, and the truth is, they hate each other. they're constantly fighting behind closed doors, and, at times, even trying to sabotage the other's career.
pm me if interested!
