everything about them is exactly alike; except the smiles. millie has one as bright as the sun. rooney doesn't have one at all. and these two supernatural doppelgangers... they're everything. both born as witches, a gene from their father, they mastered their powers at a young age. and then the gene of werewolves kicked in, given from their mother's side. they did not loose their witch-like abilities, allowing them to cast a spell that prevented them from changing every full moon, but instead, at their own will. its not without the same amount of pain though. and then bit by a vampire, a strange phenomenon occurred. like other witches who become vampires, they did not loose their natural gifts. they guessed it was because of their werewolf gene as well. whatever the case, these two are some of the most powerful creatures that walk the earth. rooney was the eldest, a fair reason as to why she's so bitter about the world and so old fashioned. she was born in 1721, making her the eldest, and changed into a vampire and stuck at her age of seventeen. millie was born in 1921, the youngest of the two. she was bit at the age of seventeen and forever stuck at that age. because she's so much younger, and born in a decent time period, she's still a bit naïve about the world around her. they live together in reila, north carolina together and pass as twins, thanks to their bloodlines staying intact and their last name being the same, so technically, their cousins, but never-the-less, the doppelganger of the other.
unlike other well known doppelgangers, they are very much so on speaking terms. they think of one another as siblings, making the lie they made up easily believable. and inspite their personalities and interests contrasting to an extensive amount, they do care an awful deal for the other. its a beautiful thing to see. rooney doesn't associate herself with anyone outside of millie, and mill does periodically, but she much prefers the company of roo.
