To get mako he needs to make a contact to a active mako stone. If you want him to have mako poisoning it's either during the contact or in rare (yet not knows) inhaled mako gas infection way.

He could be kidnapped and put into very active mako caves with lots of mako gas, he could get infection very fast there?

Yes, without cure it will be lethal, but could not be fast moving. It could take weeks or months to get worst enough to become lethal.

Body/ muscle pain, dizzyness/ headaches, stomach upset, vomiting, loss of appetite, fatigue and also depression. prolonged symptoms/ the most serious are aggressiveness and hallucinations

on the outside, fur balding, skin bruises/skin color changes and strange ulcers. at worst, also deafness, blindness, even temporary loss of the senses

age, condition and health depends on how hard that infection hits and how fast

Yikes!
So how do we want to do this? Do enemy wolves trap him with the mako crystals or do the former alpha and lead mako searcher trap him?
