PERSONALITY + HISTORY.
────────

ravenberry tends to suppress her emotions. because of this, she can come across as rather flat and uncaring. she constantly has her guard up, and only tends to let it down when she's with ivyhope and thistleheart. she can occasionally lose herself to her anger and bitterness. before the sickness, she was a rather caring and loving cat - now she only expresses that care to her kin.

there's not much to tell about ravenberry's upbringing - she had one sibling (crowleap) and was born to darkblossom and swiftstorm. she had a relatively normal life until the twolegs moved in and the sickness followed, to which she lost swiftstorm, branchstripe, crowleap, and leafkit to (her mother, darkblossom, having died a few moons beforehand).

after the death of her mate and one of her kits, she became a bit more cynical and bitter toward the world. she was torn between leaving their old home - her kin were buried there - and moving to somewhere safer. but the urge for her surviving kits to grow up safely away from the sickness was enough for her to leave everything behind and follow morningfrost to their new home.

she rather despises the tradition of assigned mates. while she's mostly moved on from losing branchstripe, she still can't find it in herself to be anything but cordial.

PERSONALITY + HISTORY.

ivyhope was born to ravenberry and branchstripe, with her siblings thistleheart and leafkit. she remembers hollowclan a little better than her brother, but most of her memories are of cats dying from the sickness and her mother's fear of her and her brother getting sick after branchstripe and leafkit died. otherwise, she had a normal life, aside from her habit (which she has mostly grown out of) of dragging her brother into sneaking out of camp as apprentices.

at her core, ivyhope is a bright cat who wears her heart on her sleeve. she's very optimistic and adores her family and friends. despite this, she can be rather secretive (keeping her cards close to her chest) and tends to suppress any negative emotion she may be feeling.

though she has only ever voiced it to thistleheart, ivyhope doesn't see the point of assigned mates. this is, in part, inspired by her mother's situation who had already lost one mate, and was then assigned another. she doesn't look forward to being assigned a mate when she turns old enough (but pretends it doesn't bother her), and at least hopes whoever she's assigned to understands that she doesn't want kits. however, she has joked to her brother before that this may be the only way for her to find a mate (as she has difficulty falling in love), but wishes it was a she-cat instead of a tom that she would be paired with.

and i remember thinking: are we out of the woods?

PERSONALITY + HISTORY.

thistleheart was born the youngest of his siblings. he doesn't remember much of hollowclan - only vague emotions and blurry surroundings. he mostly remembers the journey to where they live now, and doesn't care to recall much of the clan's old home. otherwise, he had a relatively normal apprenticeship and was closer to ravenberry than his sister.

though he can be quiet and reserved, thistleheart is an incredibly kind cat. he's a massive sweetheart and an even bigger dreamer. typically, he finds himself going along with the flow, letting his paws lead him. thistleheart sometimes got dragged alongside his sister when she wanted to explore as apprentices, and sometimes follows the itch of his paws to the small river.

unlike his sister, thistleheart finds the idea of assigned mates interesting - though he'd like to find a mate on his own, he hopes that whoever he is assigned to is someone he can get along with for the rest of their lives.

I am currently redoing my old form for skye- she is an old character i haven't played in a while so touching her up, i've linked her here so people can check her out if wanted. i am struggling on a muse for my male warrior - does anyone want a mate, brother, crush etc that i could base him around?

ohh i like that idea - what sort of dynamic would you want for them/what made them drift? i could see him being quite the aloof, goofy tom, the opposite to her analytical, but has the ability to be like her when he is needed...
