silversong is a fluffy silver she-cat with sparse tabby markings and blue eyes. she has a small nick in her ear from a skirmish back when she was still an apprentice.

she is a kind cat who tends to help out wherever she can. she is rather calm and has a gentle, soothing voice. it is rare for her to lash out or get angry. she does prefer routines but is quick to adapt. she is also very good with her words.

jaggedwillow is a gray tabby tom with hazel eyes. he has a bit of a crooked tail and a small scar on his shoulder.

when jaggedwillow was born, he lived in a two-leg barn with his family. he was content being a barn cat, but once the two-legs moved away, he eventually grew restless and left. he joined mossclan when he was around thirteen moons old, and eventually became a warrior. he had a mate - blossomheart - but she passed shortly after leafpaw was born. silversong and leafpaw were both only-kits, and he loves his daughters dearly.

jaggedwillow is a bit of a loner in terms of personality, but is incredibly kind and willing to help out whenever he's needed. he would rather put his life on the line to make sure that his clan is safe. he tends to go with the flow of things but isn't afraid to seek out something new.

i'd love to figure out some more relations for all of my characters, but specifically some certain things for certain cats.

i'm going to put here what i'm looking for for each of my cats - please pm me or respond to me here if you think you have a cat that could fill that role! or if you have any additional ideas outside of what i have listed here!

-his closest thing to a "friend" at the moment is going to be asterstar, due to their similar situations/rankings. if someone else wanted to try and befriend him, he could be a bit off-putting but if the cat was stubborn/patient enough, he could eventually let them in.
-i could see there being cats who dislike or distrust him, being from another clan originally as well as being a more tough-love type cat (more closed off and gruff).
-i would like for there to be the potential of some sort of future romance for him, so hit me up with any ideas!

-she is going to have a complicated relationship with mouse when they interact again, due to being kittypet friends, but he likely resents her for just disappearing on him with no warning.

━ appearance : stagroar is a wide-shouldered, brawny tomcat with a brown tabby pelt overlaid by black stripes. he has sharp pale green eyes. he's long-legged and muscular, towering over all with his constant smirk. the tom's coat is soft but short, and shows off his muscles, which he can't say he doesn't enjoy. stagroar has large, nicked ears and a few scars that adorn his body, the most prominent of them being one across his back. he has long white whiskers sprouting from a round face, a burnt orange nose, and he has a flash of white on his muzzle and chest. his mew is deep and throaty and so are his purrs, giving reason to his suffix.
━ scent : he smells of chestnuts and fallen leaves.

━ personality : stagroar is . . . charming, gentlemanly, cunning, intelligent, articulate, well-worded, kind (to an extent) ; confusing, impulsive, manipulative, superficial, greedy ; stubborn, fiery, hot-tempered, brash, unpredictable.
the chocolate-colored warrior is one of the most confusing cats you'll ever have the pleasure of meeting. he's confident and has a gentlemanly feel about him, but at the same time, he has a way with words that tends to lead to destruction. stagroar has a honey tongue, but make him angry or frustrated and, well . . . he'll have no problem letting some figurative fur fly. his words can build a cat up just as easily as they can drag a cat down and make them lower than dirt, to put it simply. this cat is full of surprises, and here is the biggest one: he can process loyalty and affection, and knows how to express it. so, not a complete jerk after all! here's the catch though: he has a sort of . . . split personality. stagroar can truly be kind to others and be a good guy. he can make you feel good about yourself versus tearing you down! he just chooses who he spends his time with carefully; his own image and how cats view him is important, and he doesn't want to get caught hanging with the wrong crowd. but if he genuinely likes and trusts you, you'll never have to deal with his rude, snobby side. (maybe his stubbornness, though, not going to lie.) some cats will be privileged enough to see this more vulnerable side to him, but they are few and far between. you have to be super special to avoid his flashing teeth and scorn. charming, this broad-chested brute knows just how to carry himself and just what to say in any situation; stagroar shows prosperity and intellect in every line. even when he is seized by anger, frustration, or annoyance, these "filler attributes" are still present with each stride. to explain, he can compliment you or be polite even if he wants to tear your face off, or he can say something really degrading, but soften it with his word choice. this makes him a strange guy, and all-in-all a figure that's difficult to read, but it does nothing to take away how smart he truly is . . . and, maybe, just maybe, how fake he is, too. he does things his own way, and doesn't take kindly to those that want to help him or those that are bold enough to try to change his opinion on matters. they usually just end up getting burned by the spirited, independent flames that are constantly smoldering around this cat. even with friends, stagroar may resist assistance and forge ahead.

from a learning perspective, magpiepaw is an excellent student. she's dedicated, focused, and quick to pick up new tricks, all with a level of enthusiasm that never seems to tire. this gives her a boost of boastful confidence. her loyalty to the clan and to her superiors is undying and absolute. magpiepaw has a tendency to view her elders as being the end-all be-all of righteousness. while this can be good, since she pays her superiors tremendous respect, she believes most of what they say and will mindlessly follow commands if she admires the commander. the black-and-white's opinions on matters may switch in an instant in order to match the opinions of someone she admires, making her inconsistent. furthermore, if she isn't sure how to assess a situation on her own, maggie may resort to direct and petty solutions, which may not be appropriate. she has no problem with jumping headfirst into conflict. since many of magpiepaw's actions and philosophies are in correlation with the cats she admires, she has a difficult time understanding her wrongdoings when she acts out of place. mixed with her stubbornness, this is a dangerous recipe for conflict. her knee-jerk reaction to many situations is to act in extremes. it also may be difficult to reason with her, as she can't imagine anything outside of her narrow mindset and intense loyalty to her clan.

━ history : magpiekit was clan-born alongside her brother, _kit, to wispsong and rowanstripe (npcs). from magpiekit’s perspective, her upbringing was mostly uneventful as she learned all about clan customs and such from wispsong and rowanstripe, and spent her days play-fighting with _kit, who was always the more reserved of the two. when rowanstripe passed from greencough during magpiekit’s fourth moon, she noticed a significant decline in wispsong’s enthusiasm. troubled, magpiekit threw herself into clan life the best she could manage as a kit, loving the busy environment far more than the nursery, which had become gloomy as wispsong mourned. most of her days were spent playing with _kit and trying to rouse a reaction out of the clan’s other members whenever she could grab their attention. she couldn’t wait until she could join the other apprentices in training.
indent when magpiekit became an apprentice, it was clear that wispsong had been waiting for such an occasion, because she disappeared almost as soon as her children moved out of the nursery. magpiepaw was sad that she left, but didn’t feel the setback as much as her brother _paw did, looking to the future instead. with the absence of a consistent role model in her kithood, magpiepaw looks to her superiors for guidance, often shadowing them like a parrot. her behavior is often inconsistent as a result. the apprentice has only just begun to walk the long path towards becoming an individual and is striving to learn where she fits into the clan. // she is very close to her baby bro. they hang out a lot and he's her best friend.

darkrain is without doubt very secure and sure of her own abilities. it's hard to insult her if you don't know her very well. she's extremely passionate in things she cares for, and basically everything that she does. be it her duties, friends, or lovers. she's got great work ethic, and it really comes into play when she's driven. she always loves to do a good job. darkrain is very, very flirty and coy with others. if she wants something done her way or really likes you, it shows. and very deceitful! she's good with her words. they can be poisonous if she means for them to be. in general, she’s charming. attractive to be around, and makes friends pretty easily. though, she struggles to keep them. she's more hesitant to open up, if anything. her real emotions only show through if you're a keeper. darkrain also changes her mind very easily. she's notorious for getting bored with things if she doesn't like them right off the bat. a born troublemaker, she's always bending the rules if she isn't breaking them, and likes things to go her way.

indentshe became darkpaw! her mentor was frogwhisker, an old gray tom cat. she found him stinky and annoying because he always pressured her to do work, but she eventually came to respect and care for him. frogwhisker was injured during a patrol he took darkpaw on, and she became very worried. because he had to recover for a few moons, she got a new mentor named elmthroat, who she liked right from the get-go! • darkpaw excelled at everything, and had the makings of a promising warrior. goosepaw became a warrior before her, and this made her highly competitive, making her work even harder to pass her assessment in order to rank up and join gooseheart.
indentshe finally got her name, darkrain, for her bright blue eyes. in the past seven moons since, she has done (and continues to do) everything she can to keep her clan alive and well-fed. • she had two flings simultaneously, as she liked the dangerous feel.
