"Tall, willowy lilac-point tom with slate gray eyes."
Like his brothers, Beampaw is a lynx point tom. However, his pointed markings are a very pale gray-brown over a creamy-white coat. This lends his fur a slight sunny warmth that distinguishes him from his snowy-gray brothers. But he hardly needs this to appear different--- with his long legs and slender frame, he towers over his much smaller, fluffier brothers. Beampaw's fur is shorter and thinner than theirs, but his face has an almost downy look from the fluffs of fur at its sides. Gray-brown tabby stripes crisscross down his legs, giving them the appearance of sunlight through branches. A soft touch of gray rests on his ears and tail, darkening at his tail-tip. His tail is long and flexible, like a climbing vine. Though his eyes are a stony blue, more gray than blue, their expression almost always glows with warmth. His most prominent feature is his dusty gray nose, framed by long cream-colored whiskers.

━━━ [Personality] ━━━
As he hops from den to den, Beampaw seems to have no end to his brightly burning energy. The young tom is eager to help in any way he can. Despite his age and height, he seems in every way a kit. From his wide-eyed curiosity as he listens to elders’ tales, to his innocence of other cats’ darker intentions. He enjoys caring for other cats, thriving off their smiles and laughter. This is especially true for his two quiet brothers. Beampaw loves his brothers with all his heart and wants nothing more than to make them purr with his antics. He does his best to reach out to them and to other cats. When others have a disagreement, he knows just what to say to smooth pelts and help both sides make peace. He prefers to talk to cats one-on-one in these cases, hearing all sides of the story and making everyone happy. He'll support those around him on their personal journeys, even if he's no longer exploring an adventure of his own. Since his mentor's death less than a moon ago, Beampaw's personality has softened considerably. He no longer believes he's meant to be a legendary warrior, no longer rockets into his old wild adventures. He has no place in the stories he once loved. The tom avoids confrontation if at all possible. He especially fears violence and cannot bring himself to attack others, let alone end a life. His fear of blood and injuries may impact his ability to work well as a medicine cat, especially since he has so little experience. A lot less sure-footed in his new role, he relies on his mentor's instruction. He struggles to learn and doesn't think he's particularly smart, unlike his brothers, but he will do his part to protect their lives. Beampaw holds onto his love for others and hope for good.
━━ [History] ━━
Through his blue-gray eyes, Beamkit saw a world of beautiful joy just waiting to be experienced. His vivid imagination brought the elders' stories he loved to life. As a kit he wanted nothing more than to be part of such legends, with his brothers by his side. If he could just open their eyes to all this wonder! He saw how bright and open Sagekit became on their adventures (or misadventures), and wished to bring out the same in Twitchkit. Beamkit came on too strong, got swept away by his imagination, and left his brother in the dust. Now Beampaw regrets how he acted in his kithood, and he'll never stop reaching out to the both of them. The young tom has aged too much in just a moon. He became warrior apprentices with them both and dove excitedly into his duties. But after the recent battle with Lightclan, as he watched the light die in his mentor Carptooth's eyes, some of the light he saw in the world died too. Those stories that once whipped him up in a whirlwind now dissipate to the pain of reality. Legends are built on victory in battle, and no battle comes without bloodshed. Honor and glory, all for what? Cats on both sides lost their lives that day. Beampaw was traumatized by his loss, by the bloodshed. His new mentor found him trembling with a living mouse in his paws, unable to deliver the killing blow. From then on he couldn't fight, couldn't hunt, could barely even unsheath his claws. He couldn't hurt a living being. Much happier after a few days of caring for the elders and queens, Beampaw switched from being a warrior apprentice to a medicine cat apprentice. He misses going out with his brothers, but he vows to keep them safe in his new role. He has been medicine cat apprentice for mere days and has absolutely no idea what he's doing, but he works hard to memorize herbs. His personality has 180ed since Carptooth's death, with the tom growing more introspective and gentle, but he's still mostly the bright, loving apprentice he used to be. And light still shines on in Silverpelt.
