about:. mason is very shy and introverted, preferring to keep to himself. he's observant, always watching others to see what they'll do next. he studies human behavior. mason suffers from anxiety, and will occasionally have attacks. this is very not helpful for the games. his weapon of choice is a spear or trident, although he is also very proficient at knot-tying, thanks to growing up in the fishing district.

mason was born in a large family, and so had to help provide for his siblings. he never liked violence, though his older brothers did. mason spent all his time caring for his younger siblings, while his older siblings trained for the games. when his name was called, mason's older brother, jason, tried to volunteer, but their mother said she wanted to keep her "prized son". she didn't care what happened to mason. she was glad to be rid of him.

her weapon of choice is a slingshot or scalpel chain.
