The Story:

Long ago, before their were humans on earth, their was simply spirits that ruled the earth. Over all of the spirits were the Moon, Earth, and Life spirits. Earth wanted someone to care for and love, so they created Man and Woman. Man and Woman lived happily on the earth, but the spirits saw that the humans were weak. They needed warriors to protect them. So, each of the great spirits created warriors: Moon created Howlers and Light created Quell. Quell were magnificent, each stunningly beautiful and powerful. The Howlers were powerful animal spirits, but they were ugly. They had teeth, claws and fur. Both of the races were blessed with powers to protect the humans. But, when the humans met the two new races, they were terrified of the Howlers. The Howlers turned on the Quell and the humans. Eventually, the Howlers banished the Quell underground out of jealously. Still, the humans were terrified of the Howlers. The Howlers were forced to hide in the forest. They struggled to survive, living lie half starved animals. The Quell, on the other hand, flourished underground. Together the Quell created a paradise.

Present day:

The humans have long since forgotten about the magical species. The Howlers and Quell have been at war for centuries. The old hatred is still burning strong and everyone is sick of the fighting. A lot has changed since the early days. it is rumored that there even Quell and Howlers that have fallen in love. Their children are half Howler/ half Quell. Though, the war still rages on. Lately, things have been quiet between the two races, too quiet.... There is rumor of an attack among the soldiers.

↠ The Order/

The future unlocked many revolutionary discoveries for humans. From
healing nano-bots, to flying cars, to hologram technology. Anything
the old sci-fi films managed to dream up, scientists managed to bring
to life. But one problem remains unsolved. The human condition.
Legends still remain of the old days, when humans would war with
each other over land and territory, shooting at one another from across
blood soaked battlefields. Those days are long gone, but only because
of strict regulation and the careful observation of "The Order." This is
a group of scientists who are in charge of regulating what remains of
humanity- and there's not much. They regulate hormone fluctuations,
bodily health, everything needed to make human beings into
their ideal selves. And now, they're letting it all go.

The Order has set up a remote location, fully stocked with luxuries and
necessities, and has arranged for six people to be dropped off and
observed without interference. That means no mood regulating pills,
no rules, and no help from the outside world. Through this social
experiment, The Order hopes to learn where humanity stands. Has
our ego and naturally destructive instinct truly been deleted? Or,
are humans doomed to revert to their old ways? In a society raised
on perfection and idealism, what will become of these six strangers?

Erilea Peaks, a vast land teeming with wildlife. On occasion, humans come here to hike or hunt, but the land is mostly untouched. Though many animals inhabit these mountains, from rabbits to bears, the land is dominated by the dogs who claimed the mountains as their own many years ago. The dogs who live here come from all over; Some were born here, some were wild dogs from other lands, and some were dogs who were abandoned or ran away from their owners, all seeking refuge in Erilea Peaks. No matter their origin, all dogs are allowed her as long as they keep the peace. The dogs here live in harmony, working together and helping each other survive. Erilea Peaks is a paradise for dogs...at least it was.

After years of peace, trouble is stirring. A large pack of dogs has invaded Erilea Peaks. The leader is cruel and greedy, and won't be satisfied until their pack has taken the entire land for themselves. They show no mercy, harming and killing any dogs who get into their way. The dogs of Erilea Peaks will have to fight if they want to keep their paradise. Will they be able to save their home, or will they fall?

Once, this world was normal, much like ours. Nearly everything was carefully explained by science. The only questions left were in the depths of the ocean and the far reaches of space. The world was relatively stable, and life was better than ever before.

But of course things can never be too quiet. Life just doesn't work that way. So slowly, odd occurances happened all over the world. Strange creatures, people, and events. At first the news didn't spread, but soon people managed to record it and put it on the internet, and they went viral. Babies born that glowed with a supernatural light, strange machines falling from the sky, a man who claims to be Perun, the Slavic version of Zeus. These events spun out of control...and then they appeared. People in costumes who fought back the threats...or caused them. The superheroes and supervillains. There isn't any other word that accurately describes them. They were somehow blessed or cursed with powers and decided to use them. People rejoiced and shouted in fear.

With the appearance of these costumed individuals, the events now had a face to blame. The world's governments quickly denounced these vigilantees, some even calling for their arrest. But one man came forward; Bran Schaal, an up-and-coming businessman with many interesting projects under his belt. This man, who invented more efficient solar generators, refined better jet fuel, and was planning the technology to colonize the Moon came out as one of the superhumans, live on CNN in an interview. Bran announced his next project, what he called the "Union of Superheroes." He planned to gather the capable and willing individuals in one team to help the world, stop any in-fighting, have some political power, and prevent casualties. They would act on a global scale, dealing with any threats big and small from supervillians and the like.

Today is the day of the meeting, January 2nd, 2021: four years since the first rumors of supernatural events. It's taking place at Schaal's personal skyscraper in Manhattan, noon EST. The world will be watching who goes and who doesn't, and what comes of this group of superhumans.

Union of Superheroes

Laurelclan is located in Greece, which is where the clan name originated. The cats currently live at the base of Mount Olympus, and the peak of the mountain is where the leader and medicine cats go to speak with Starclan. In leaf-fall and leaf-bare, the cats travel to a hidden camp along the coast where they'll have better hunting and better weather. To get to this camp, they must either travel over mount olympus, which is dangerous, or travel around it.

There are some rogue packs and loners that live in the forest by Mount Olympus, so Laurelclan cats must always be on the lookout for them. In the warmer seasons, some Twolegs travel to the forest and live in wooden dens, sometimes bringing along kittypets or dogs or small Twolegs.

Mount Olympus is known as "The Everlasting Mountain".
The camp at the base of the mountain is known as the "mountain camp".
The hidden camp along the coast is known as the "coast camp".
The forest is know as the "home to enemies".

Every thirty pages will be a moon.
Every fifteen pages is a half-moon.
Ranking ceremonies will not be held, and the cats will automatically age and change ranks.

Oceanclan is a cat clan with a well-minded leader, Seastar. Oceanclan used to be a very calm, peaceful clan, until.. One day a flood hit the camp, flooding it and leaving lots of cats left to die. Seastar lost a kit from the flood. She's been very quiet and sad ever since. This tragic event has left her with her dark side.

Rules:
You may submit as many cats as you can handle. But no god modding. Also your cat may have powers (With permission from me, like reading minds and seeing the future.)
