β³ Personality Paragraph:
Dolly is nothing like her dam. She has a kind heart, and a love for every creature. The kind and motherly Aunties (As she called her zebra nursemaids) taught her patience and understanding, as well as the ways of the world. Their loving natures and fondness of her was never worn thin by the antics of her mother. Despite the sweetness she had for a few months, life after the removal of her mother and her changed her. Not only was she always alone with the large mare, but she was also left the only horse around that could be the receiver of Esmeralda's torments. The hurtful words and cold nature of the mare lead her to be anxious and afraid often, as well as self critical and worried. She is strong, though, and has learned that maturity is the only option to survive. She pities her dam, as she does know everything about her. Knowing this, she often makes it her duty to unwind the web of deceit laid by the mare. As she ages and sees that so many other horses are kind and loving, her hatred of her mother grows.

β³ One - Three:
She was born into a herd of zebras with her mother being the only exception. She was happy to be ignored by the mother,
as the zebras they traveled with tended to herd together in much larger numbers. She saw the way that numerous stallions bunched their herds together for safety, and admired that they remained unjealous. Then, at a young age, she and her mother were kicked out. She has endured the tortures of living with Esmeralda for months now, and looks forward to being old enough to leave safely.
