Personality: Catherine is extremely loyal to everyone she loves or cares about. She has a twin sister named Cathleen but she isn't well enough to attend a school away from home. Catherine is fierce and strong, a true Slytherin at heart. She would kill for anyone she's close to. She's incredibly smart and enjoys being the most intelligent person in the room but she also likes an intellectual challenge. Almost everything she does is geared toward being the best that she can be. When she's not with her friends you can find her in the commonroom or library, studying.

Personality: Emilia tends to keep to herself, when spoken to though she proves she is not shy. She's clever and sends snippy side remarks back when someone messes with her. She has a haughty side to her as well and can be extremely stubborn. She doesn't let her disability hold her back and excels in classes, but is rather self conscious of her appearance. She has a lot of resentment about herself that she needs to work through and views the world in a very pessimistic light. She holds herself and speaks in a manner that is stand off-ish and cold. She feels entangled in her families political affairs and does her best to keep everyone a safe distance from her. She knows who to say what to in order to undermine people and has been known for knocking people down a few notches on their self esteem ladder.
She is surprisingly sensitive and can be very empathetic once she's opened up, but this would take a lot of time that most people have given up investing in her. Her emotional armor is almost impenetrable and even upon taking serious insult she hasn't been phased it cried over any form of emotional attack since she had been in hogwarts.

History: Emilia grew up in an extremely wealthy family, however a freak illness struck that infected her eyes. Unable to find a cure the doctors worried it would spread and cause blood poisoning. In a last ditch effort they opted to remove her eyes entirely, their efforts paid off and she recovered, but she has been distant and cold ever since. Her family told her she could never be a powerful witch and have advised her to try to marry someone well off instead of trying to make it on her own, she came to prove them wrong and doesn't speak to them anymore. Her mother in particular views her as a valuable family member and has been trying to get her to leave hog warts and come home, however kind her actions appear to others Emilia is aware it's her attempt at controlling her future, and will have none of it, even if it paints her as a villain.
