Hi, my name is Lillian. But please don't call me that because I prefer Lily. Well anyway, if you can't tell I am a female, and I am a yellow and white Border Collie. I know right!? Probably haven't seen many Border Collies with the same color as me before! I am also three years young, because I don't like to consider myself old. Us dogs can't think like that.
I would say my best trait is the fact that I'm sweet. I mean I know that is probably weird for me to say about myself, but you can't say it about every dog. I like to help out as many dogs that I can, and I am not one to judge before getting to know someone better. I only judge on the personality. I'm not your average stray. I am compassionate towards everyone I meet, unless you have done something wrong. I would suggest you DON'T get on my bad side. Okay?
My worst trait may be that I'm a bit oblivious to certain things. I can be slow at times and not understand what people are saying. Just take the time to make sure I know what's going on. Anyway, I am also pretty gullible. I will believe anything anyone says, just because I never suspect someone of lying. I don't see why anyone would have the need to lie.
Now on to my history. I don't enjoy to talk about my past very much, not because it was traumatic, but because I don't like to live in the past. I had a pretty good past actually. I had a brother, Sky who I was raised with until I became a stray. My parents were both professional show dogs, known for having unique fur like mine. Our owners decided to keep Sky but not me. I wasn't sure why at the time, but I always knew Sky was the favorite. He was a beautiful show dog. So, when the time came for me to leave I was distraught. I didn't want to leave the only place I called home. So I did the only thing I thought I could do; I ran away. I was only about 8 weeks old but I knew I would be fine on my own. I wasn't a dumb show dog like my brother. Unfortunately my nearly perfect plan of running away backfired when I ran into the clutches of the dog catcher. I had never met someone who smelled so bad before... and I haven't since. I thought my life was over. Until I was rescued by the dogs on the band 1 pack. They took me in, and raised me to be the strong stray I am today! I wouldn't be alive, nor who I am today if it hadn't been for their respect and guidance.
Lastly, you may be wondering about my love life. I am a heterosexual, which means I like males. A lot. I don't really like anyone right now because no one has really caught my attention. Although, I have always dreamed of having a mate. The idea of always having someone who cares about you just excites me.
