yo, little dudes. since i seem to have missed the heated moments i'd like to just jut in here to say i agree wholeheartedly with jabby on the relationship stance.
this roleplay is meant to fall more towards a stressful mood rather than a romantic one. surely relationships of all types will be formed, but romance is not the intended purpose here. what is, however, is locating the captain. not saying that persuing romantic relationships would be out of bounds but it would be more towards the back burner as the search marches along. once ol' stevie boy is officially located whenever that may be then i assume the forming of more intimate relations could be acknowledged, but still not focused on soley as sori and i have more plot awaiting you folks. shh, it's a secret though. don't tell her i told you.

i am a bit disappointed in the turn out of male characters but it is to be expected. from my experience, female characters are much more widely preferred by roleplayers. mainly it ties into a thought process of most popular canon characters being heterosexual males and people wishing to pair their own character up with the canon, but there are other reasons as well, this is merely an observation. no need to dwell on it though, undoubtly there will be a rush of new people and their respective characters soon enough and they will hopefully fufill our fantasies of more male characters! c:

You know you seem like your trying to force me to not have any romance at all which is hardly fair. I get your opinions but it just upsets me that you are trying to discourage someone who wants some romance like myself into not having any romance at all. I don't really appreciate the negativity towards romance Novak. It is basically like you sayimg I should not have it at all.

I need to be honest if you all are this oppossed to romance I probably shouldn't have joined. I expected people to have open minds and it sure seems like I am being told to shut down on romance department before I even get the chance to talk about it with anyone.

I'm not taking sides here because I'm all for having romance. But as Novak was saying they were completely saying no to it. They were just discouraging it because this a more serious feeling RP. They never say 'there will be no ramble between chracters.'
I am totally for romance in RP's. I like RP'ing relationships but when a plot is more of the serious type it should be put 'on the back burner.' Like Novak said. Meaning a relationship can be developed but don't like it take away from the plot.

I will be leaving the rp as I do not approve of anyone who discourages romance. I do not think discouraging romance is good idea considering I was looking forward to the rp until you said I should not do romance.

if you'd like to interpret it that way there is no way for me to convince you otherwise. you're placing words in my mouth, however, and i also do not appreciate that. i'll restate my former comment: 'not saying that persuing romantic relationships would be out of bounds but it would be more towards the back burner...'. never once did i completely disregard your want for a romance, i merely stated that it does not fit the plot of the roleplay and shouldn't be focused on too much. i hold no negativity towards romance and it is not basically anything besides me simply refreshing the idea of the main plot being forwarded so that everyone may have a nice time here, love.

Elena we werent totally discouraging romance. This is just a RP where if shouldn't be a romantic when there's a serious mater; looking for Cap. Like Novak an I said. Romance is allowed just don't allow it to cloud the plot of the RP.
