Personality & Background

Winona is abrasive, harsh, rude, and uses sarcasm so frequently everyone struggles to know if she's serious. Or at least that's what all of her report cards have said. She does come off as rough around the edges, but is kind. She tries to be a loner, but is fiercely protective of camp, especially the younger campers. She has zero tolerance for cruelty.

She and her dad lived in Seattle until she was thirteen, when her powers started popping up. She set her school on fire after being told she was lazy and stupid, and would end up wasting her life. It drew monsters t her, and her father found an ancient ritual, and contacted Hecate, who claimed her, and started training her to use her powers. She was brought to Camp Halfblood at fifteen. She sees her mother more often than her father, and...they have an interesting relationship. She blames Hecate for ignoring her and the misery she went through at school. She harbors resentment with her father for not helping her sooner.
