Crow: Looks about as strong as you considering you were never much of a runner to begin with

Flower: Their mentors say they are the best hunters in the tribe
Crow: That's an understatement since my children have caught more than all your children's catches combined. Your kits probably learned from them -shrug-

That's hilarious, comedy gold!
I would love to make this canon, 'cause it'd be so cool to see their rivalry to get this far.

Warrior aged kits -

Crow: My kits are going to be the bravest of all warriors.
Flower: So they got it from their father, he must've been brave to be with you!

You could have Crow question why Tide, a sailor, is hanging around an apprentice if you want to make her angry
It is what she has been worrying about ever since he was promoted to the next rank. She doesn't want him to think she's immature or not good enough now that she was a lower rank than him

but I can just see an awkwardly confused Tide with that comment, not knowing what to say to not upset Flower
