ＢＡＣＫＳＴＯＲＹ
A young and inexperienced warrior called Fawnwillow had been given a fresh start, as she had just received her warrior name not a moon before announcing her pregnancy. Eyes turned to Rowanbrook, an average tomcat who held no name and title to be overly proud, and a basic level of skills to get him to survive. But still, since the moment of her apprenticeship, Fawnwillow had been head-over-heels in love with Rowanbrook. The tom did not return the feelings, but he had always wanted to be a father. Thus Fawnwillow did not hesitate in accepting his request for kits, and was not angry there was no love ever given from the tomcat to the queen.

There were two kits born, Bengals like their father. And two sunrises after their birth, they still had no names. Except when Fawnwillow returned to the nest to find a small wound on the she-kit's jaw. She named the kitten "Spiderkit" after believing it to be nothing more than a spider bite, despite the fact it most obviously wasn't. The next day, the tomkit had been brought out to the nursery entrance by Rowanbrook, as the father wanted to quickly get him excited to become a warrior, already wanting to favor his son. The sunlight shown on the tomkit's fur, making the usually dark brown/orange a red tint. Fawnwillow claimed it to be a spiritual sign, and dubbed him "Cherrykit". Rowanbrook fought the name, as it was a rather 'girly berry', but Fawnwillow did not understand and countered with 'it's cute'.

Cherrykit hates his name.

Although in his first few moons leading up to his current age, Rowanbrook was always trying to get Cherrykit to leave the nursery and try battle moves out. He tried to teach Cherrykit respect and discipline, which the young kit did indeed pick up on unlike his sister Spiderkit. But by the second moon, it was clear Cherrykit wanted nothing to do with battle training, and was not interested in become a great warrior(or leader as Rowanbrook constantly brought up, wanting a son to carry on their legacy greatly). Very quickly, Rowanbrook began to turn to the neglected Spiderkit. The two go off into the clearing and have private discussions Cherrykit doesn't like. He misses his father, and Spiderkit always comes back with a darker expression.

i would like to jump back into this rp again, if allowed? if i need to re-apply i can do so ! (actually that would be best as i have forgotten who my cats were lmao)
