he wants to go by the name his mother gave him, sunflower, but the clan calls him sunnypaw.

looking for: mentor, that's maybe even his uncle/aunt? the one and only singular friend that sunflower will actual be a normal person with. maybe later becomes his crush if they're male/nb, or an unrequited lover if they're a she-cat?

sunflower has spent every day of his life in stormclan, but he has still been treated like an outside who wandered in. his mother had been brought to the clan from the two-leg place she lived in, after the leader learned his clanborn father had sired a litter. the tom has never been told what happened to his real mother, and he's pretty certain he really doesn't want to know. the runt and only survivor of his litter, sunflower will face his storm trials alone. at the young age of six moons, the orange tabby is petrified about his upcoming warrior ceremony. the daily routines of warriors seems so harsh and unforgiving. with so little faith and sense of belonging in stormclan and their cruel ways, sunflower is surely doomed the day he turns one.

the orange tom seems to have lost his spark before it had even kindled fire. skittish, sensitive, and convinced no one in the clan really wants him there, he's isolated himself to the point its a problem. not very socialized and scared of his own shadow, sunflower will flat out refuse to perform duties he finds perilous. some of his fellow apprentices call him a coward, but he is an invaluable source of common sense and reinforces the importance of critical thinking.
