To allow for appearance-based names, kits are named after 2 weeks, the lost kitten didn't make it that far. So I hadn't really thought of one but I guess I will leave that to Brambleheart and Oleander to choose! Maybe something like Neriumkit? (which is an alternative name for "Oleander" after their father)

I really like that name! Fits great as an ode to Oleander

S A M P L E ◦ I N T R O D U C T I O N
─── light paws on muddy grass, the sound softened by the rainfall hitting the fauna around her. rainstep had positioned herself at the back of the hunting patrol, laying low behind a thick leaved fern. her bicolored eyes carefully tracking a small brown shape on the other side of a group of shrubs. the hare was mindlessly gnawing on a root in the cooling rain, the damp masking the scent of the predators closing in on it. mistyleaf and maplestrike were those that accompanied her this patrol, she watched as maplestrike took the first position.

rainstep held her breath, felling her heartbeat in her ears, the weight of the raindrops on her whiskers aiding in the tension. her own muscles tensed as she watched the large tom creep up and his muscles tensing as he prepared to launch himself forward. the hare sensed the eyes on it and took off in the other direction. while maplestrike gave a slight chase, mistyleaf was waiting on the other side of a fallen tree. the blue silver tabby she-cat leapt out and caught the hare by the hind leg, ending the hunt with a quick bite.

rainstep shot up and excitedly padded over to her clanmates, greeting them holding her tail high. "great catch! you weren't too bad yourself maplestrike," the grey lynx point molly turned to the warrior to her left. when met with intimidating eyes that stood slightly above hers, she offered a smile. "i haven't tried catching a hare yet, i hope we can find another one before it gets too late!" she purred, her paws ever so slightly kneading at the rain soaked forest floor.
