history ;; cloud was born on a cloudy greenleaf afte
rnoon alongside her stillborn sister daisy. originally,
cloud wasn't breathing either when she was born, h
owever the stoneteller at the time was able to get
her breathing again. although she obviously has no
recollection of this, she was told the tale a million
times and it is one of the reasons she is so profound
ly in love with life. because of this experience and
her sister sadly not making it, her parents were rat
her overprotective of her and raised her to love to
its fullest capacity. however after the death of her
parents, her mother passing shortly before she was
due her second litter and her father not surviving t
he loss, her emotions dulled. although she is better
than before, she is still not the cat she used to be,
and is often seen awake at night staring at the star
s and saying countless prayers to the tribe of endle
ss hunting where her family reside.

@lacke i was thinking perhaps cloud and stoneteller
could be relatively close friends? only because they
're close in age so probably would have known each
other from being kits. it's totally okay if not though!

is age. at least that's how the warriors describe it. a
cat more his age may see it as boring. wrenpaw has
spent his training surrounded by older apprentices,
and so has grown emotionally a lot faster than he w
ould naturally with apprentices his own age. due to
this, he doesn't play kit games and instead spends h
is time enhancing his training and his learning. he c
an often ask intellectual questions and looks up to
his elders. some cats may find it odd and even a litt
le sad that he doesn't embrace his youth, but wrenp
aw is happy with how he serves his clan.

history ;; up until now, wrenpaw has had a rather n
ormal life. born to clan warrior willowtail and ____
wrenpaw was the only young kit in the nursery duri
ng his kithood, with cloverpaw, peachpaw and nett
lepaw already being two, four and three moons res
pectively. this resulted in him having to play by hi
mself a lot of the time, which often ended up getti
ng him into trouble with the mischievous curiosity
and energy of a kit and no friends to exert it with,
whether this was bothering his uncle russetfur in t
he medicine den or bugging warrior and elder alike
. when he became an apprentice, he quickly matur
ed, desperately wanting to prove to his denmates t
hat he was no longer the trouble-making kit he use
d to be. now that he shares a den with cats around
his emotional age and thanks to his training to burn
off the extra energy he still has, he is growing into
a fine apprentice and eventually a fine warrior.

in that he can be very grumpy and demanding, ofte
n annoying the apprentices with ceaseless requests.
however, this is simply because he gets awfully lon
ely. with terrible arthritis and failing eyesight, shad
ewhisker often struggles to leave the elders' den let
alone the camp and often feels as though he is forg
otten about. this causes him to be an extremely sen
sitive tom at heart, and gets highly emotional over
small matters. he adores kits, and his arthritis does
n't stop him from witnessing the miracle of birth.

history ;; shadewhisker was born to the unlikely pair
littlefoot and duskfur. his mother died during the bi
rth of her three kittens, which was expected due to
her small frame and the medicine cat's warnings. d
ue to this, shadewhisker and his siblings spent their
kithood between foster mothers and with their fath
er. when shadewhisker was just a young warrior of
25 moons, his brother hollowtail went missing abrup
tly and because his brother wasn't a very popular ch
aracter, rumour spread that he'd gone to live with t
he twoleg tourists and the name 'jester' began to be
uttered around camp. this angered shadewhisker an
d his sister nightleaf as they knew better of their de
ar brother, and this name calling often gave them t
he short end of the stick as well. frustrated by the l
ack of action within the clan, duskfur went searchin
g for his son on his own, but was found dead just ou
tside the territory a few days later, presumably fro
m dehydration. the layered grief tormented shadew
hisker and his sister almost as much as their fellow
clanmates, however they stuck together until nightl
eaf passed simply of age, leaving shadewhisker to j
oin her and their family in his own time.
