BATPAW is one of the many apprentices of the odd briarclan. he
is an individual with many quirks, from his oddly curled coat, to
his easily-spooked demeanour. batpaw was named for his dark
coat, and large, bat-like ears. he will later become BATWING,
for his talent of being able to effortlessly climb and jump from
tree branch to tree branch- in an almost avian nature. he is cur
rently eleven moons of age. batpaw is cismale, and identifies as
bisexual biromantic. he is smokey black in colour, & is very tall
for his age, with long, spindly legs. he has extra toes on all paws.

Batpaw is easily described as an overly-worried cat, who is often
the voice of reason (and anxiety) when it comes to adventures with
his friends. He has a hard time loosening up and often takes things
a bit too seriously. Batpaw can be a risk-taker when he feels comf
ortable around others, and he is generally seen as someone who
enjoys a good challenge. He can be awkward at times though, and
gets easily flustered around those he respects or likes.

i think it'd be cute if sandpaw and littlestripe were related in some way, too since i think
sandpaw would appreciate having a relative even though he'd probably be terrible at visiting
littlestripe in the elder den's lmao.
also everyone who agrees to have their cat be related to littlestripe please let me know
so i can put it in the relations chart!

also! in the beginning of the role-play i'm planning for sandpaw to lead a group of apprentices
into the territory at night to explore, since all briarclan cats generally go to sleep at dusk and
do not leave the camp at night. this is when the humans in charge of the experiment come in
and do general maintenace work around the territory (such as fixing and hiding cameras in the
trees that get misplaced and other such things). the cats of briarclan have no idea what two-
legs are since they've lived what they think an isolated existence so far.
would anyone like their apprentice to tag along in that group with sandpaw? i'm thinking three
to four other cats could be in the group since i don't want the whole apprentice den moving
out lmao. i'm also planning for wolfstar to lead a patrol of warriors to the burial place to see
how thornclaw could have 'awakened from the dead' but i'll probably ask who wants to volunteer
their cats for that once the role-play begins.

also! we only have one apprentice slot left if anyone wants to snatch it! i'll probably expand the
slots again once we have more warriors but for now i don't want any apprentices to go mentorless
because of a lack of warriors lmao.

also i should have the allegiances updated so please let me know if i accidentally screwed up
something! my brain can get ahead of me sometimes like my mishap with littlestripe's name
so just give me a little nudge if i mixed up names or something.
