The kits didn't resemble him at all, and Cherry, feeling no need to lie to him anymore, confirmed his suspicions and told him that she'd been meeting the kittypet in secret for moons now. Less than a moon after the kits' birth, Cherrytail announced she was leaving to go live with her kittypet mate, and taking her kits with her. Sootface hasn't seen her since.
