Tbh I always try to make my forms pretty, because then they make my characters look pretty so then I'm like "eeeyyyy" but detail is important too, I agree. Idk, but while you write novels for their form I code until I die lmaooo
Tbh idk if I should change Pierce's gif and form colours. His fc- Kim Taehyung- is so pretty and widjwidjw there's A LOT to choose from, and it's the same with Zane. Taemin is a hottie c;
I'm always so picky with my male characters but when it comes to the female ones, it's so easy for me to pick xD

@flo - aww, thank you! I look pretty hard to find fcs I think match what I imagine for a character and Chloe Grace Moretz seemed to fit very nicely bc of how soft looking her face is in some gifs.

it's hard to find gifs I like because her fc looks super different in a lot of them. rn I'm conflicted between keeping the gif, or changing it to this or maybe this one

@Kai, yes, help with picking some good gifs would be very much appreciated. I'm picky as well, and I gather tons of gifts too, but then a few days later I look back at them and I'm unhappy idk why xD

► Appearance: Alex has a petite and slim frame. He's not frail, just kind of skinny. He has a pale skin tone with brownish-blackish hair and dark brown eyes. He usually wears very casual clothes, like ripped jeans and a normal shirt. He also prefers neutral colors and dark colors, and he likes wearing hoodies and sweaters. He stands at about 5'8". He's fit, but doesn't go to the gym very often, preferring to just go on runs daily. He looks very intimidating at times, since he has a very cold gaze.

► Personality: Alex can seem antisocial or intimidating, but most of the time, he just prefers to be alone. Alex isn't necessarily shy, just pretty quiet. He isn't very friendly or extroverted, but he's not mean right off the bat either. He usually speaks only when he needs to and doesn't talk a lot. However, if somebody spoke to him, he would uphold a conversation with probably minimal words unless he felt urged to talk more or less by something about the person. He doesn't necessarily dislike making friends, he just doesn't see a need for it for himself, so he doesn't go out of his way or actively try to make friends. He's actually very sweet and caring to close friends, but otherwise, he can come off as a bit cold. If he is interested by someone, then he would be able to reach out to them first in order to befriend them.
He can get a bit pessimistic at times and has very low self esteem, so he is almost never satisfied with his own performance, and always notices and points out his flaws and he gets pretty self-deprecating. There was a pretty bad period in his life where he had many dark thoughts (it started around when he moved), but he's kind of over it. However, he can get pretty self-destructive at times. He doesn't like telling people his insecure feelings unless he's really close to them. Alex can also be blunt and offend or hurt people by accident, because he's sometimes a bit insensitive to people he doesn't know that much. If he gets complimented by peers he usually doesn't accept it. He feels sort of like he doesn't belong and like his life is a mess due to the move and how he has still not adjusted to his new peers, school, and lifestyle. Alex can sometimes judge people based on his first impression of them, even when he doesn't fully understand their situation, and he can sometimes jump to conclusions. He's also very stubborn, and hates being wrong.
He is very hard-working though, and studies a lot, which pays off, as he is pretty intelligent and clever. He also likes everything to be neat and clean, so he often organizes things. Alex on the inside is actually a really big softie, and he's a sucker for romance in books and movies, but he doesn't really think a lot about it concerning himself. When Alex wants to help or care for somebody, he usually does it quietly and through small actions. Deep inside, Alex really longs for a close friend, or a few, at this school. Also, Alex can be very mother-like and caring and responsible towards his close friends, and actually does like skinship, but only with his very close friends. He misses his friends in Korea a lot, and is happiest when he gets to call them. Alex is also quite curious, and often does things to satisfy his curiosity, even if it's a bit dangerous. When he does get flustered, he tries his best to hide it, but his face and ears can turn red.

► History: Alex has a fairly normal family. He has one older sister, and his parents love both of their children a lot. His sister is 6 years older than him, and she's getting a job in South Korea and establishing an adult life there. He moved with his mom and dad from South Korea to here about three years ago for his father's job, but he was tutored at home for two years, so he didn't have a lot of time to make friends, and even then, he wasn't very interested in friends. He prefers his life in South Korea than his life here, and he wants to go to college in South Korea, and if he can't do that, he at least wants to get a job in South Korea, so he can go back. He isn't very focused on getting friends. He's more focused on excelling academically, practicing dancing, and video calling his friends in South Korea as often as possible, because he's very close with them. He has a good relationship with his parents and they accepted his sexuality. However, he still doesn't like how they made him move here with them.

► Crush: He has one or two small crushes, but he also thinks that there are quite a few attractive people in the school. For example, he thinks that Pierce is attractive, but doesn't have a crush on Pierce. If he does develop a crush though, he usually pines after his crush a lot, but doesn't really show it. Alex sort of likes Joohyuk. Alex definitely wants to be Joohyuk's friend, but always gets that feeling whenever he sees him. That feeling of weird giddiness that Alex always feels around his crushes. Alex also harbors a crush on Kian, and will not admit that Kian is the main reason why he is at most of the football games. Alex knows that Kian is too... popular to really become his friend, so Alex hopes that his feelings for Kian will fade soon, but Alex still wishes they could be at least friends. Alex would never admit his crushes though, and knows (hopes) that they're just small and will fade as time goes on. Plus, he's sure that both Joohyuk and Kian have somebody they already like or somebody who already likes them. But that's not it. Not only does Alex like two unreachable people who will never befriend him, but Alex is also very confused about whether he likes Lucas as a friend or romantically. Alex really wants to be friends with Lucas, but lately he's been confused and now doesn't want to think too much about it.

► Friends: He isn't really friends with anybody in the school as of now. However, he would like to be friends with Kitt (I don't know if I want to have Alex like Kitt or not, because Alex already has so many crushes), but finds him kind of... scary? He doesn't want to annoy him. He would also like to be friends with Reagan, but feels like even if Reagan did acknowledge his existence, Reagan's friend group doesn't really fit with Alex, so doesn't try to befriend Reagan. He would like to be friends with Lucas and Joohyuk as well, but also kind of doesn't, because he's worried that if he does, he would develop feelings for them (or maybe his feelings would just get stronger). There are actually quite a few people Alex is willing to be friends with, but Alex doesn't really reach out to anybody.

► Extras: Alex has a little bit of a weird quirk where he always notices and pays attention to the features that he thinks are pretty of people. For example, if he noticed that somebody's hands were very delicate and nice-looking, he would probably remember that about that person and observe that when he sees that person. He also loves sweets and usually always has a chocolate bar and some hard candy in his pockets somewhere, and usually he can't say no when somebody asks for some of his candy, because, inside, he's just too nice and doesn't like rejecting people.

Alex doesn't really know anybody very well, so his thoughts on people will probably change as he gets to know them, and he bases his opinions on people on what he was heard and seen, but usually not personal experience with any of them, so he will think of most people from a neutral standpoint.

♦Jocks♦
Alex somewhat admires the jocks for their athletic abilities and
devotion to sports. He has some sort of stereotypical thoughts
about them, partially because of experience before, partially
because of so many K-dramas he has watched with his mom,
partially because some of the stereotypes can be somewhat true
at times from what he has seen at this school from a few
people.

Pierce Brixton :: Positive/Neutral
Alex finds Pierce quite nice, and thinks that talking to him
would be very easy. He thinks that Pierce is just a good guy in
general, and can see why so many people like him and are
friends with him.

Zane Park :: Neutral/Positive
Alex is a bit confused about Zane, because Zane comes off as
tough and jokes around a lot, but in rare moments, Alex sees
Zane with his close friends, and Zane seems softer and more
gentle. It sort of interests Alex, but he doesn't want to stick his
nose into Zane's business.

Minghao Wen :: Positive
Alex would really like to be friends with Ten. Alex has heard that
Ten dances and wants to watch Ten dance, and maybe learn a
few things. From what Alex has seen, Ten is pretty caring to his
friends, and is also pretty humorous. Alex just thinks that Ten
would be a great friend, and Alex would probably try and talk to
Ten and become friends if he got a chance.

Reagan Xiao :: Positive
Despite often giving the impression that Alex doesn't like how loud
and flirty Reagan is, deep down, Alex enjoys how friendly Reagan
is, and really wishes they could be friends. However, Alex feels like
he doesn't have a friendly personality, and doesn't think that Reagan
would like him a lot. Alex admires how Reagan can make everybody
comfortable.

Kian Dexter :: Positive
Kian is probably Alex's biggest crush. Alex finds Kian so cute, but also
so hot?? Like how? Alex shows up to almost every single football game,
mostly to watch Kian. Whenever Kian asks for chocolate (because Alex
always has some), Alex just can't say no. Alex wishes he had the
confidence to befriend Kian, but it is unlikely, as Alex is bad enough at
making friends when he doesn't have a crush, but when he does have a
crush on that person, Alex becomes even more quiet are them. Alex
loves Kian's friendliness and how he seems to be very comforting to
others.

Lazarick Johnson ::

♦Cheerleaders♦
Alex actually admires the cheerleaders sometimes due to their
amazing flexibility (which he is trying to work towards, in order
to make himself a better dancer) and how they memorize all
their routines, since it's similar to the dancing that he loves so
much.

Luciana Kim :: Negative
Alex doesn't like Luciana's coldness or how mean she can be to
people in general, but he also wonders about her softer side,
and is pretty curious about her, but he wouldn't ask her directly
about anything. To be honest, he's a little scared of her.

Freya Maville :: Neutral
Alex likes how carefree and sociable Freya is, but is kind of
scared of how she lashes out at times, and he doesn't want to
anger her. He is actually kind of jealous of how close she is to
Kian, but tries to let go of those feelings, because he has no
chance with Kian, and Freya herself didn't do anything to Alex
to make Alex think of her negatively. She seems like a very
guarded person, and Alex thinks it would be hard to get close
to her, so he doesn't think he'll try to befriend her.

Mina Soo :: Neutral
The fact that Mina doesn't really try to learn bothers Alex, but he
guesses its just the way she is, and tries to not judge her because
of that. He really admires her dancing and actually sees her at
dance club and even catches glimpses of her at the dance studio
he takes lessons and practices at, so he would like to be able to
maybe become friends with her through their common interest in
dancing.

Kyleigh :: Positive/Neutral
Alex thinks that Kyleigh is a pretty nice person. He likes how she's
very cheerful, and thinks that that would make her a nice person
to be around. She's pretty popular, and also really pretty, so he
doubts she'll talk to him much, if ever, but she would be a nice
friend, but he isn't very interested in her. Still, if she made the first
move, maybe he would befriend her.

♦Artists♦
Alex thinks that the artists are pretty amazing and cool, since Alex
admires many types of art, although he sometimes can't understand
some types of art, he tries to be respectful, and looks up to artists in
general.

Lily Chang :: Neutral/Positive
Alex doesn't see Lily around a lot, but from when he has seen her, she
seems quite shy, and a bit awkward. He doesn't really know much else
about her, so he only has a neutral opinion of her, but she isn't mean
from what he's seen.

Lucas Choi :: Positive
Alex finds Lucas so incredibly adorable and beautiful and talented and
precious. He would love to be friends, and is even developing a small
crush. Whenever Alex witnesses Lucas storming out of a class, he wishes
he could help the other male, but knows that it would be really
awkward and he's bad at stuff like that. Alex also finds Lucas very caring
and
respectful.

Joohyuk Nam :: Positive
Alex finds Joohyuk amazingly entrancing, and spends more time staring at
Joohyuk than he does admiring Joohyuk's photography and art (and also
wondering what abstract art even is) which is saying a lot. Alex would like
to become friends with Joohyuk, but doesn't know if they would have a lot
to talk about, and is desperately hoping for his crush on Joohyuk to go
away.

Kitt Chankul :: Neutral/Positive
Secretly, Alex likes Kitt's sarcasm and finds it really funny, but Alex
is also kind of careful when he talks to Kitt, because he doesn't want to
annoy Kitt, and Alex wishes he could be more comfortable and try to
befriend Kitt, but Alex also feels like Kitt just wouldn't like his
personality, and so he doesn't really try to talk to Kitt a lot. One small
note is that he thinks Kitt is really attractive and I dunno, he might
develop a crush...?

Alexis Park :: Neutral
Alex finds Alexis confusing, because she's pretty friendly and makes
a lot of friends, but she seems a bit off around some friends. He
doesn't know what it is, and he doesn't know her really, so he can't tell.
Her skinship with so many people, and even some she's not extremely
close with bothers Alex a little, since he's not used to it, but it's just
the way she is, so he tries to not let it change his judgement of her.
If she asks him, Alex is willing to give her chocolate, and he's kind of
curious about her, which kind of makes him want to befriend her.

♦Outcasts♦
Alex doesn't think the outcasts are really outcast. He just thinks that
they aren't really in one of the cliques.

Indigo Wang :: Positive
Alex thinks that Indigo is a nice person to be around, as she's usually very
bright, and he would like to be friends with her if she reached out to him. He
respects her and thinks that she's pretty funny.

Alyssa Ellwood :: Positive
Alex feels like he could talk to Alyssa about his feelings and trust her with
them, if he was close enough to her and was actually her friend, and he would
like to be friends with her if she wanted to be friends with him. He really
admires her kindness and how she can see the good parts in everybody.
