will frey was born in albany, new york to a well-known clan of vampires. his mother and father were the leaders of said clan, so he grew up very privileged. fellow vampires and other supernatural creatures quivered when the name was mentioned. the freys were known for their harsh attitudes and cold way of killing. any vampire not with them was against them in their mind so they were quickly cut down. his father in particular did not take kindly to potential threats. the family wracked up enemies daily from their unconventional slaughter. will grew up in constant fear of being taken or killed by the freys enemies, because killing the clan's only child was a severe offense. as much as will wanted to believe his parents didn't want him to be taken was because they loved him, but the main reason was he was the only one to carry on their lineage.

vamp children immortalize their parents, him especially since he would be taking over the frey clan. he was expected to be just as ruthless as his parents and ancestors, but the kid just didn't have it in him. will is well-mannered, charming, and ethical, much to the chagrin of his clan. his father became aware of his demure personality when he had taken him on a trip to 'take care of' a threat. once there, he told his son to get the job done. will looked into the girl's eyes, his face crumpled in anguish. his father circled him like a vulture, black eyes watching him intently. will slid out his fangs and made a move to do the job, but the girl let out a soft, helpless cry and the vampire stopped in his tracks. the teen took rapid steps backward, blinking wildly and wondering how he had almost killed an innocent person.

this did not please his father. the leader hissed and jumped forward. the girl hardly had time to scream before her head fell off her shoulders. will wasted no time - turning on his heel and fleeing the abandoned warehouse before he would have to face his father's wrath. will bolted the whole way home, packed up his stuff, and left without a word to his family. since that night three years ago, will has been on the run from his father and mother and whole clan. for now he is situated in a remote vampire clan with morals vastly different from his past one's. the nineteen year old picked up the healing skill, something that suited him quite well. it is very different from his expected role in the previous clan.

alexander ↣ being the lead vampires helper, demetri is once again cautious. however the alpha has heard things of him as well, and in honesty demetri doesn't find him that bad to be friends with, if they ever were (neutral, potential positive)

winter ↣ unlike most vampires, demetri finds himself thinking different of her. the alpha does find her attractive and would more than likely be tempted her seductive ways, either way demetri is curious about getting to know her better than just a blood-sucking vampire (neutral, future friends?, possible crush?)

will ↣ a vampire healer. not knowing whether to take will as a threat or not, demetri keeps himself distant and somewhat quiet, however from what the alpha has heard about will doesn't phase demetri considering he sounds like a matured man that doesn't cause trouble (positive)

kimberliegh ↣ unsure of the lead witch, demetri is on guard. having heard legends of what they can do, he is more than protective over his pack, even though witches sometimes help other supernatural beings the alpha male isn't all that sure of her, however her considerate trait is something he likes (unsure, potential negative)

elizabeth ↣ daughter of the lead witch. with her being a young age demetri is completely fine with her, however it's the powers that she might get as she grows, after all the alpha has read that sometimes young witches can't control their powers which can lead to trouble (neutral)

lucinda ↣ a black magic witch. when demetri was little he had seen black magic kill one of his sisters friends, therefore the alpha is distant from her, however he has seen some traits in her personality that makes him want to know her (negative)

basil ↣ really another? knowing that he is a black magic apprentice, demetri feels a threat or something bad will happen since a witch in learning can be disastrous (unsure)

eadlyn ↣ she may hunt vampires but she doesn't get off the hook that easy. yes he might hate some vampires, but some of legends have said that werewolves and vampires have joined forces to protect each other, not knowing what to believe demetri is still uneasy around (neutral)

dafari ↣ one of his most mortal enemies. being a werewolf hunter demetri definitely sees him as a threat, therefore the alpha is clear from his way and does everything to make sure he doesn't get close to the pack (negative, enemies)

noah ↣ another vampire hunter. as the alpha said before he is with vampires hunters, yet he can be against them depending on if they hunt them for good reason or if they hunt them for fun (neutral)

bailey ↣ so many, so less to say. demetri does like the girls personality, however he does feel that she might easily turn against a werewolf considering she already hunts one type of beast (neutral)

basil doesn't actually think winter sucks. they're quite similar in that they can both be manipulative. above all, basil thinks she would be a cool friend. he loves a wild card, and that's exactly what winter is. he feels like their relationship would be very love/hate, constantly teasing. potential friends?

hunting his favourite race? not a huge fan. werewolves were gentle (arguable), loving (debatable) and adorable (completely opinionated) beasts. say, hunting a werewolf would be like hunting his own race. if he didn't know his occupation though, they might get along. potential enemies

as the lead witch, basil kind of has to respect her. otherwise, well, he doesn't really know. he would feel kinda pressured to not be himself around her, so it might result in avoidance. but she is powerful, and he does like powerful people. even if they do end up as stepping stones. respect? potential friends?

a lot of people end up being pieces on a chess piece for basil, in a game of chess where his intention isn't really to win. basil feels like elizabeth would be a piece, too. she's smart, brave, energetic and basil likes that, but he's not sure in what way. respect? potential friends?

basil isn't too sure about athena. she's outgoing, funny, fun to be around, but basil thinks her company could be a little tiring. yeah, kinda hypocritical, he knows. however, he doesn't know her well at all, and there's a good change they'd become friends. he's not sure what the werewolves think of him, though. potential friends? potential enemies?

lucinda; "i'm not afraid of a big bad witch" i don't think these two would get along at all. being impulsive and arrogant will turn winter away right from the start. winter and lucinda most likely will do nothing, but argue with each other. (enemies/dislike)
nicoletta; "what is with all these wolves?" although if nicoletta wasn't a werewolf winter probably would have been friends with her. however, i think winter will try to avoid the werewolves. (neutral)
