jax, in his early life, was the most obedient kid to his parents. he loved them with all of his little heart. they got him a baby horse to fill the space on their farm, but also for his birthday when he was thirteen. as jax grew up, may grew up, too. he still has her, though she's seven, now. he loves that horse. it's the only thing he has left.. on that one night in july, he was tacking up may to go on a ride in the woods with her when his parents ran outside. jax was already on may, still in the stable. when they came out from the house, two things were chasing them. they yelled, shouted, and screamed at him. again, he loved them for his whole life, even through his teenage years. and through that loyalty, he did what they told him. when they said to run and not to worry about them, he kissed them both and did exactly that. he ran. he kicked may's sides and just.. went. they never said when to stop, so he kept at it. he didn't care if walkers were on his heels or not, he did what they told him. he only stopped after two days of traveling. may nearly collapsed, and that's when jax knew he was safe, when he could take a break. he stopped at a farmstead. he let may graze for a whole day and take care of herself, and he did the same. he looted the stable, the barn, the house, garage; all of it. he got a lot of supplies and guns and weapons to protect himself. for about five days he defended that farm, until the group came along. he was happy to see actual living, breathing, non-cannibal people. he asked if they saw or had in their group jenny and/or chris mckanye. of course, that was a no. he accepted the possible fact that they were gone. but it was for his own safety, and he knows that. so he stayed with the group and shared his small loot with them. he knew it was a lot to bring may, and the group didn't really like that fact, but he couldn't stand leaving her. so he brought her along with them and gives others a ride in a rotation system.

woman, about the age of twenty three, walks up to you in a rush.
she wears glasses and a lab coat, bone-straight blond hair falling to
her shoulders. "i'm sorry, but you can't-" she's suddenly attacked by
small-ish creatures with heavy-looking lizard-like tail, though they
looked like a weird kind of dog. but, then one farther back in the
restricted area breathed fire. you duck under the tape and enter.
the little creatures approach you and sit down in a circle around you.
they aren't acting hostile towards you in any way, so you kneel down
to pet them. you are about the same height, eye to eye. they are
quickly fond of you, and you decide to take some back home with
you and share with friends and family.

CPD's are little dragon-type creatures. they are covered in short fur along their bodies, but become scaly on their tales and back claws. each individual is gifted with an element and has abilities to control that one element. it is extremely rare to have more than one element, but it is a possibility. their back claws are extremely powerful and can hold themselves plus another eighty pounds added. each CPD has a pearl, and the pearl is the color of their element. the stripes indicate how old the CPD is.

Jakob(Jak-ub) was born in Moscow, Russia, and stayed there until he was fourteen. he moved to Nevada and finished a rough four years of high school and knowing little english. his grades were pretty awful, until they got him books and programs that were in Russian, and he ended up passing. and as soon as he got out of high school, he decided that traveling and photography were what he wanted to do in life. profit or no profit, it's what he chose. his english is still terrible, and even when he can speak, his accents takes over and shows tremendously. he's really shy, but if you bring up a topic that he loves or is interested in(mostly photography/wildlife), he'll ramble on and on until you tell him to stop. // when Jakob was around thirteen, he had a girlfriend. things went well for a while, until she almost literally broke his heart. she had attacked him one night, and she was accompanied by three jocks. they beat him, nearly killed him, and that's why they moved. and as he hung out with more boys, he began to attract towards them in a 'love/like' sort of way. he's bashful, adventurous. he likes to cuddle, take pictures, and spend time outside, mostly in a field or hill. he pats down grass into a sort of 'nest' and lays, looking up at the sky. he dreams of traveling the world and visiting most places, taking at least one picture. and he'd love to travel with someone important to him, too, so he isn't lonely, and so he shares his adventures.
