I am thinking of dropping out of this one, sorry, I just can't find enough motivation to post anything on my characters...so you don't need to wait for me to post.

For my cats, you can say Perch maybe went too close to the mudslide and had some smaller slide happening which killed him, Nerite got scared of the happenings and escaped the clan, maybe something happened to Cinnamon on the trip to try to find the dead warrior (I forgot her name) and well for Yarrowpaw...I don't know it's up to you...

No worries, I understand. The roleplay has been stagnant for a long while, but I still had a lot of fun roleplaying with your characters. Rumblespout and Neritebloom had some good fights! Thanks for letting me know what to do with your cats. All the deaths seem like a lot for one time. Do your cats have to die in those specific ways? Would it be alright if some of your cats just became background NPCs instead? If not, we can try to work in those deaths.

I wanted to ask you both how you feel about Perchwood dying, since Firefly and Aspencurrent would be with him when he dies. Would you be okay with him dying beside your cats? How would you want to write this? I still want to write their return to the clan soon so we can move on to the gathering. Do you want to timeskip this or write it out?

And Colonel, thanks for your input about the gathering place! I like hearing Lightpaw's perspective on this. He's so sweet and precious.

All the votes have been for the Smoothing Stones so it's settled then. Since not every cat can attend, I'll be planning out the patrol chosen for the gathering. If you have specific cats you want to send, throw them in the discussion! And let me know whether you want to time skip straight to the gathering, to keep things moving. I added a poll! I'll be planning out stuff over the next few days.

Thanks for answering my poll question! I've talked with rey and Colonel to figure out how to introduce Firefly. The poll was split between skipping to Firefly or skipping to the Gathering. We've decided that Firefly will have a quick talk with Sykestar about joining FallsClan, then we'll go straight to the Gathering. Characters that aren't involved with Firefly and Sykestar's conversation won't need to post. In the meantime, I'll finally get the prophecy gossip sent out over PM.

@Queen of flames, Thanks for being so flexible about what happens to your characters. I really appreciate it.

Here's what will happen during the first time skip, before Firefly joins:

• Firefly, Aspencurrent, and Perchwood return safely to camp. Perchwood becomes an NPC.
• Neritebloom secretly runs away after the mudslide, resolving to leave the territory forever.
• Lynxspring and Cinnamonthorn go out to search for Milktuft. Cinnamonthorn catches her scent and runs ahead, where she gets swept away by another flash flood. A horrified Lynxspring is forced to conclude that this was what happened to Milktuft. He returns safely and tells Sykestar what he saw.
• Hopperpaw and Gullsplash are punished for disobeying orders, with Gullsplash particularly in trouble for neglecting his apprentice Stormpaw. She is reassigned to a different mentor (NPC). Hopperpaw and Gullsplash will be stuck in camp on apprentice duties for the next half moon. Sykestar is aware that they were attacked by rogues, but not that they had crossed into rogue territory.

Because we have lost so many cats, I've reassigned some mentor-apprentice pairs:

• Yarrowpaw becomes an NPC. Rabbitsong no longer has an apprentice.
• Aspencurrent will be Firefly's temporary mentor as she adjusts to clan life. She will have her warrior assessment in one moon.
• Ryepiper will be Lemmingpaw's mentor.
• Starlingflight will continue to be Kyanitepaw's mentor, as she will become a warrior soon.
• Spottedfeather will continue to be Hopperpaw's mentor, as he will be stuck in camp for the next half moon anyway.
• Stormpaw is reassigned to a different NPC mentor. Gullsplash no longer has an apprentice.

Just checking to let y’all know the post is in the works. It’s taking a little longer with overtime at work, and I have a bull calf I’m trying to wean that has been constantly tearing up my electric that I have to make repairs on every night with a headlight 🙃

Thanks for checking in! That bull calf seems like such a handful. Those electrical problems sound exhausting, but they'll make for a good story at least. I'm sure he's very cute though! No worries about your post. It doesn't have to be super long or anything, I'm just excited for the story to start back up again soon.

I had a really hard time trying find Firefly’s mood. A lot of overtime this last week did not help either, again sorry about that, was unexpected and I had to fill in. =-=

Hey everyone! I'm sorry for the long silence. I haven't forgotten about this roleplay, but I just got so busy that I couldn't keep up with it. I've been swamped with final exams and graduate applications. Once I'm in a better headspace for writing, I'd like to reboot the roleplay. A new thread might just be what the story needs to continue.

I plan to make the reboot thread in a few weeks or months, depending on my schedule. We will start where we left off, on the night of the gathering. All the events that have happened up until now (flood, mudslide, Firefly joining) will be referenced in a prologue. I'll be reserving high ranks for the cats currently in those roles, but if their players are inactive/uninterested I will open them up to new players. Let me know if you're still interested!
