As for Lamia... well I think most of the others are busy doing.. other things. Either out of camp or talking with someone. I think only Kuri, Pandora, and possibly moose would be able to stop her - or at least interrogate - for a bit before she grabbed the puppens. And as Lamia was exiled about three years ago, so it's possible for them to vaguely recognize her as they would have been around one or two years old when she was exiled. Others are free to stop her and question her, after all, she is a rather bedraggled stranger in the middle of their camp.

I was going to say "I think only the groups led by Avina and Moose are leaving camp!" but then realized that was a good majority of the current active members in BR Zephyr, Dionysus, Luna, and Pandora are still there afaik? I'm still waiting on Luna's response, but for the sake of convenience for the miniplot we can say Zephyr's group is already out hunting?
Zephyr's absolutely going to get salty at both himself and Pandora for not organizing things better so there were actual wolves in camp

I would not mind a plot like that, maybe once the packs are merged. Though ofc, it depends on what Rae'tia thinks!
That said, I hope the conclusion would not be the remaining pack members killing the humans - that tends to be the go-to outcome when humans are involved as an antagonist.

I'm with what was said above - it might be an interesting plot to bring in after the merge. The only problem I have with it is that, for me, having characters captured means that I, a certified idiot, have to figure out how to write them escaping

In all seriousness, I imagine it should be possible for the captured wolves to be rescued by their packmates? I'm not sure how difficult it would be to free them from a zoo, personally.

Mmm, maybe some trickery stuff? Fake illness to find themselves in a better place so that they can escape? (Inspired by Seekers, one of the many, many Erin Hunter animal series (it's the bear one))
