hello everyone! i've never used a thread li
ke this before, so i hope i'm doing it right,
but i wanted to know if anyone would be i
nterested in an rp i've been thinking about
for a while now:
it would be set in the percy jackson univer
se, however a little further down the line,
and for the sake of continuity and simplici
ty the toa series likely won't come into pla
y (which is a shame 'cause like,, it's really
cool). the plot idea i had would be that, si
milar to how kronos was planning on being
'resurrected' in the books & how gaia start
ed to wake, ouranos would be starting to r
eturn to a conscious state, and would likel
y set his sights on reclaiming the power he
once had. and hey, surprise surprise, it's up
to a team of demigods to make sure that d
oesn't happen! perhaps with a little divine i
ntervention, since although many of the god
s decided to stay out of it and save themselv
es the trouble, some have learned from the l
ast few times. maybe.
there would likely be limited spaces, althoug
h the demigods in question could have any g
odly parent, be it greek, roman, minor, or ev
en primordial (i think only a maximum of tw
o or so characters with a primordial godly p
arent, though). while the end goal would de
finitely be to ensure ouranos doesn't obtain f
ull consciousness, i haven't planned out an e
xact 'route' the characters would take to ach
ieve this yet, neither have i written the prop
hecy that would have been issued regarding t
he whole situation (for i am neither an oracle
nor a poet). if enough people show interest, t
hough, i'd work out some more plot points and
get that prophecy down! perhaps with a little
help, if anyone's willing to offer it, haha.
it's also probably worth mentioning that i will
allow only one/two characters per person due
to the limited spaces (probably about ten ma
ximum in total), and would expect at least a f
ew lines each post. lgbt+ characters will be ac
cepted, of course, and very strongly encouraged!
