No worries! I'm in the same boat, with school starting soon. I understand about Concord, real life and your well-being always take priority.

I wanted to ask, will you be time-skipping over Lynxspring's search for Milktuft? I don't think her body can be found, although I'd have to ask @peachpit to be safe. After the time-skip, Sykestar will give Milktuft a eulogy. As for Spottedfeather, I think she was just watching over camp as temporary deputy, without any close interactions.

I will also be writing a post soon, for Hopperpaw and Swallowsight. They will both be reacting to Gullsplash. Hopperpaw will tag Goosepaw and Yarrowpaw when he returns to camp.

Regarding rogues in general, I think we can safely have them as NPC antagonists for the time being. They will come into the spotlight in the next phase, but later on they likely won't be so necessary. I wouldn't want to leave anyone's rogue character in the dust when the plot focus shifts. Rogue positions are still open but I'm satisfied with just having Firefly for now.

I'm so so sorry for the late response!! Things got really hectic with school and I lost track of time! I posted for Swallowsight and Hopperpaw. I'll get Rumblespout done after Nunavik posts, and I might throw Briarseed back in later.

I'm going to start sending out activity PMs to players I haven't heard from in a while. Please reply to this discussion if you're still interested! Once everything is finalized I will send out prophecy gossip PMs for the gathering. I have a lot of things in the works if we can get there. We've got a small group but a good group, and I hope we can keep creating this story.

The time skip has happened for most of the cats who posted on page 12 (Rabbitsong, Gullsplash, Lightpaw, Hopperpaw, Swallowsight). Since Nunavik hasn't posted yet, Lynxspring hasn't been affected by the timeskip yet. I'm not sure how Nunavik will handle Lynxspring's post and the search for Milktuft, so I'd love to hear from her. @Nunavik, what will you do about the search for Milktuft? Will you be time skipping ahead in your next post?

I think for the sake of time it would better to just skip past the search. Queen, does Cinnamonthorn want to join the search? Maybe Lynxspring and Cinnamonthorn went out to look for Milktuft but couldn't find anything? We can presume she was lost to the river. @Queen and @Nunavik, would you rather Cinnamon responds to Lynx or would you rather they return to camp in this next post?

I'm so sorry for the delay. I'm getting swamped with coursework and roleplaying is just not on my to-do list lately. I will try to get my post up this week so we can move on with the roleplay.

@Queen of flames @selasphorys I don't see a reason to Cinnamonthorn responding to Lynxspring so I will be timeskipping the entire Milktuft search. I'm going to have Lynxspring assume Cinnamonthorn went with him but they were unsuccessful and found no evidence of what may have happened. Then, in the same post, I will be setting up their return to camp.

Like my last post here, all my characters will be back in the camp by the end of my post, once I complete it. Again, thank you for your patience! Let me know if there are any specific interactions you are curious about.

It's alright, I have also been feeling overwhelmed with coursework. Your real life priorities come first, but I really appreciate that you'll try to get a post up when you can.

Do you guys want the Gathering to take place in camp or at the smoothing stones? I'll set up a poll but I'd love to hear your input.

• Smoothing Stones
  
  + traditional location for gatherings (StarClan should protect the cats there)
  + new environment to explore and write in
  - north of the mudslide so it is difficult to get there (but not impossible, there are safe routes)
  - not all cats would be able to attend due to the danger after mudslide
• Camp
  
  + every cat can contribute to the discussion
  + no need to walk past the mudslide
  - harder to talk and listen due to the heavy waterfall sounds and mist
  - breaks warrior code to hold a gathering here

The leader should have the most influence on where the gathering takes place, but I want all our roleplayers to have a say. In either case, everyone should have at least one character at the gathering. If it does take place at the Smoothing Stones, I'd like to know which cat(s) you want to send there.

I've also cleaned up the allegiances to only include active characters, except for injured cats in the medicine den. When they recover from their injuries after a timeskip, they will be removed from the roleplay.

Hey everyone, I apologize for the lack of updates. School and exams have taken a lot of my time and energy. I'm still here though!

Nunavik has informed me that she will be on indefinite hiatus to focus on schoolwork. Lynxspring, Spottedfeather, and Starlingflight will be inactive NPCs from this point forward. I still hope to continue with the story, but I don't know if we have enough active and interested players to keep going. I'm happy to rearrange mentor/apprentice pairs as needed and resolve stuck interactions. I just haven't seen the level of engagement this roleplay needs to continue.

Please respond on the discussion if you're still interested in being part of this roleplay.

Even if this rp has to continue as a small-group or even a 1x1, I'll do what is necessary to accommodate interested players. Regardless, thank you for bringing this story to life and keeping it going for so long. It's more than I could have imagined. I'm grateful to everyone who put a part of themself into this <3

I still want to continue! I’m sorry to hear of the inactivity, and my role in it since I don’t see a post I thought I posted on this thread earlier this month?

Anyways I love the setting and do want to keep it going, even as a smaller group.

Maybe we should time skip to the meeting?
I had voted to keep the meeting at the same spot, because that’s probably where Lightpaw would vote. Though he probably would rather have it in camp for the convenience, he’s still firmly trying to follow traditions and the code especially now, hoping that keeping them up will make Starclan happy and give them guidance
