Personality: Wisdom comes with age, and it's true with Slate. She might seem snarky and rude at first, but if you get to truly understand her, she's a nice she-cat with a troubled history. She is a truly nice cat, but she has a hardened shell over her that needs to be broken.

History: Lived a pretty normal loner life until her mother, Jax, passed. She was raised, by her father, in a group of loners that they later joined. She had other siblings, two to be exact, but they passed along with their mother. After seeing her father killed by one of the loners in the group, she left in fear for her life. She eventually found a tom whose name she cannot remember and settled down to have kits with him. As she had her kits, he left her for another she-cat. The two kits she had were stillborn, never getting to have their first breaths. Grief on her shoulders, she left the area she grew up in for the coast she was told about by her father, where she met Blue. Taking in Blue as her adopted daughter, the two have lived together since. Slate currently resides as a loner in ShoreClan territory with Blue.

Weaknesses: Her snarky attitude might chase others away
